If a big believer in decentralization, then yeah, you'll hate FB coin.

For most of the world, they could care less if a coin is decentralized. To be honest, I'm not
sure how a stable coin could even be decentralized to begin with. I'm not a fan of FB myself,
but overall I consider Libra a good thing.

Personally,  i think it will be too much power vested in libra if it is launched. Just imagine the 27 big companies that are involved with a lot of their customers.... Apart from being centralized,  these guys can decide anything and NOBODY will be able to do or say anything about it. I am happy US lawmakers intervened and told facebook to come and answer allegations levied against it first.
2. Why would you need a permissioned blockchain  for a stablecoin?. This is not a blockchain that will allow dapps to be built on it.... It's just for remmitance!!!

probably, Libra will be one of the valuable coins at the future and it will have high value better than XRP. So far, the hype of Libra really can influence many sectors, moreover it is created by the high company, Facebook. Recollect for yourself the news on Facebook that they ban the cryptocurrency advertising. And now we see that they themselves are launching such a project is Also centralized. By the way Libra (Facebook coin) is a stable coin like tether or PAX (fiat stable coin). and all fiat stable coin must be centralized because they need backed by fiat and the company must prove it.

I don't think Libra is bad. But you seem to misunderstand the nature between XRP and Libra. Libra is not crypto like XRP. Libra is stablecoin. It's like USDT, USDC, PAX, ...

However, the market needs such coins. It's like a armor for a trader. This will partly help the community expand. That's the value Stablecoin created.
