If that really happens, I cannot imagine how much bigger for the profit that people will get because I am sure that many people will have more than 1 bitcoin now. We will make a lot of money from bitcoin because we can hold the bitcoin and not going to sell if the price does not reach $100,000. But I am afraid that there are only a few people who can sell at that price because other people cannot wait for a long time to take their profit.

i think everyone who is half wise has plans like that already. but not selling "everything" specially since bitcoin price rises are so gigantic on each rally period that even selling a small percentage can give you your initial investment plus a reasonable profit.
for instance i sold some coins that i have bought early on 2017 by the end of the year and got my initial investment out with a big profit while still having most of my investment in simply because price had risen 20 times more than the time i bought those particular coins!

Bitcoin has had several bad days in a row, it was completely natural that we experimented a correction but now we are wondering what is next? In order for that prediction to come true the parabolic growth of bitcoin must continue but it seems there is a very strong resistance at 14000, however if it is broken then we could reach prices at least as high as the ATH, but it is also possible that during the next weeks we see a recovery in most altcoins as investors decide there are better opportunities to multiply their money in those coins as their price has been going down in terms of bitcoin for some time.

It is funny how analyst predict prices. they say Bitcoin will reach  x hundred thousands dollars  when it is in an uptrend move, then predicts that bitcoin will be worthless when it suffers a crash.  This sure make them very reliable in their prediction.  Sometimes I just wonder, most of these analyst just ride the sentiments of the market just to have clicks of their article or gather more followers.   

I am bullish in Bitcoin but I am not sure if Bitcoin will really hit $100,000.  Let's wait and see Bitcoin to break its ATH and then $50k before we talk about $100,000 price.

That. Bitcoin is nothing but an opportunity to market themselves because it's the hottest asset class in the world as we speak. They just go with the flow of the price and adjust their opinion to match the sentiment.

If they really believed anything of what they said, they would long Bitcoin the moment they write about how they believe we're due for $100k, and short it whenever they believed much lower levels are due.

Every site or individual being a self proclaimed expert being involved in crypto as a whole, experiences a massive increase in followers. This is what they are after. They don't really care about Bitcoin at all. Popularity it is.

Okay, people can think: he got it right in his price forecast. But what was the price on June 17th? Guess what? the price of June 17 was $ 9,300, anyone could predict that in a few weeks the price would reach $ 10,000. I definitely do not believe the price reaches $ 60,000 so early and when I say so early I say the next 2 years

100 grand is now seemingly the most commonly quoted figure across this forum which is pretty bonkers when you think about it.

it is not that big a number if you think about it in comparison to number of people who want to have a share in it. we only have 17.7 million of it in circulation and the world population is 7.7 billion. even if only 1% of the world bought bitcoin that is 77 million investors each only getting 0.22BTC with current supply!

i'd say even with 1% adoption $100k price is still too low.

I agree that Bitcoin will have greater value in the future. But $ 100,000 in the near future is very difficult. Because not everyone believes and will buy BTC, it takes a very long time to be trusted by many people.

We’re in the bullrun now so when is the next bull that was mentioned?i never doubt the capacity of bitcoin to reached highest value but 100$k is too far from now since we don’t even have the adoption from the majority..I have seen some thread that talks Bitcoin reaching a million bucks but I think that’s exaggerated and will never come to reality even if we took @hundred years from now

right now we are mostly in a denial phase where some people still can't accept the fact that bitcoin has entered the bull market and they are uncertain about what they are going to do next. meanwhile whales have started another accumulation phase ever since we had the big drop down after reaching $13k+ levels.
as for $1 million, there is nothing exaggerated about it. basically it is like the $20k price prediction that people found exaggerated when price was at $600 a couple of years ago!

The thing is, do they actually hold BTC?  They should have proven  themselves being bullish by publishing their intended investment for Bitcoin and state that they will have a long stance for it.  Just like what Bob Loukas did when he said that he believes that the 4 year cycle of BTC is starting and has a long position towards Bitcoin and his exit point.

I think now, at this moment, if it can be an exaggeration, I share your opinion, although bitcoin usually gives us great surprises, an increase would not be bad even to $ 50k, because the general reaction of the crypto world would be totally bullish even for the altcoins, it would be crazy, and if in the case that reaches the sum of $ 100k would be something that would be in the possible standards but very difficult to achieve.

Yup. If someone is talking shit, they usually don't follow it up by an investment or trade.

As far as I know, there are only a few people actively guessing price movements who do put their money where their mouth is. These people purposely show their positions and holdings because they know how many shit talkers there are. Fools like Tom Lee don't show their positions and holdings because there isn't anything to show.

It's so easy to pop up as a nobody and then pretend to be a chart analyst or whatever by kicking in open doors. Welcome in the world of crypto.

It is not a matter of years for bitcoin to get to $100,000 it can happen before end of this year and what it really needs is institutional investors that are not ready to manipulate the market but are ready to buy and hold for long term and you will see the price skyrock to above $100,000.

I usually don't trust any predictions about the bitcoin price.I've never heard about this guy(Aslam).
According to cointelegraph,he was right about bitcoin going above 10K USD last month,so let's hope he right about the next bull run,even though I think that bitcoin might not hit 15K this year.

I hope the exchanges, wallets, etc, start using the bit as a unit of account, when we touch 100k, because there will not be enough bitcoin for everybody, and people feel unconfortable with all those zeroes to the left. With this, the satoshi would become a cent, which is more in line with what people are used to.

Wrong. A satoshi becomes one cent at $1 million, not $100k.

It'd be nice to have a unit of say like 1000 satoshis. One satoshi is too small an amount to use as a unit of account, whole Bitcoins will be too big for most people as the majority of people in the future will only have 0.x or 0.0x bitcoin. Having like a kilosatoshi (ks) would be nice. That way 0.1 BTC could just be called 10,000 ks instead, so the average person who buys bitcoin from here on out would have thousands or tens of thousands of ks, instead of a tiny fraction of btc or millions of sats.
