I want to hear people's opinion on altcoins not surging in value like bitcoin presently
Few of my friends have already dump there altcoins and buy bitcoin straight up ,I hope they make the right choice ,if not? That might be the biggest wrong move of their lives.
What are your thought?patience or swap for BTC ?
ETH still swimming in the 300$ + river ,what do you think will happen if ETH jumps to 900 or 1000$?

I don't know what will happen later, but certainly their choice is not a mistake. and I personally choose to survive and buy bitcoin using FIAT.
Finally, maybe everyone sees ethereum as not moving, but believe the second coin after the bitcoin that will increase is ethereum. this always repeats everytime.

Not ideal to hold only bitcoin, time for alts will come, though they are growing at a slower pace but a very quick but generally they are bringing in some profits too. There are a few altcoins doing quick pump than btc already but not in the top 100

Yes, but Bitcoin should be the first priority with an allocation of at least 75% of the total assets we enter into Crypto. Besides that, I prefer the altcoin which is quite interesting in the last few months, such as ETH, BNB, BCH or XRP

Now 90 percent of my portfolio is Altcoins and I am losing a lot of money now when Bitcoin shows such growth, but I will not sell them because I expect a Bitcoin price correction and high prices for Altcoins

I am just praying to see Ethereum for a thousand. The altcoin was bought long ago, and if I sell it now, no profit will be made. According to ETH predictions online (Chinese experts made it), ETH has many chances to reach 800.

If you have already sold altcoins then wait for the correction BTC. People will start to fix BTC. And after BTC falls in price, altcoins will fall too-this will be the best time to diversify the portfolio. Ethereum at 1000? It would look beautiful, but while it is out of reach for him.

Can't expect all altcoins to follow the pattern of bitcoin prices, there are many different factors.

First btc will go to moon. Then other major alts will follow. Then low volume tokens will follow btc pump. But useless tokens will not do any good. And people hate ico/ieo. If you are holding tokens with real life use, i think you may wait.

Your friends are smart, that's exactly what you do during a BTC bull run. Under such market conditions (BTC going up fast while alts bleed), you only have one option and that is to jump ship and join the BTC hype, otherwise, you'll be missing out big gains, just look at that 20% surge in the BTC price in the last 24h while most of the alts (including the major ones) can't even make it to double digits.

The altcoin cycle will eventually start, but as of now, there's no other choice but to go all-in on Bitcoin, IF you want to see some short-term profits, of course.

I don't think that altcoins are going to start regaining momentum any time soon. It is quite clear that this new bull run is almost entirely entered around Bitcoin, with nearby altcoins just receiving some spillover gains.

If you're expecting ETH to reach its all-time high before Bitcoin, then you are likely to be disappointed. Bitcoin's dominance is currently hovering around 63%, or around double what it was during the 2017 bull run. Based on this fact alone, we can see that Bitcoin is gaining value twice as fast as the market as a whole.

Because of this, unless you're able to spot the outlier, your best bet is BTC.

Bitcoin is more valuable when compared to the other cryptocurrency so when the Bull Run affects the Bitcoin then I will go with that because more than the altcoins will be profitable for me.

Bitcoin is always the reference point when you talk about cryptocurrencies. No wonder, when it is doing good in the market, everyone notices. And hoping that other alts will follow the fate. But yes, only few altcoins are deserving to follow such trend because a lot of them were created for the sole purpose of the dev team's profits. We all hope that this btc market performance is a continuous development.

Bitcoin has biggest internet market there Bitcoin is trading huge. Bitcoin demand increase first then altcoins. Your friends did biggest mistake if not get back.

With drops like the current one going on with Bitcoin people tend to sell there alts for way under market value so it could be interesting to buy back now if they didnt.

I have crypto friends who sell their altcoins to buy bitcoin because they think its the best decision to do now. Bitcoin is increasing while altcoins are not, there are some coins who managed to increase but still far from the progress of bitcoin.

IMO buying bitcoin might be a good decision but I wont sacrifice my altcoins just to buy btc, instead I will buy using my own capital if I have any. There's a perfect time to sell my altcoins so I will wait for that time.
