It is considered one of the big coins even though it is not in the top 5.
It's been around forever, has consistently done well, and has a huge community backing it.
So 20% down is of course, a great time to buy.

With Libra and btc looking to finally bring crypto mainstream, the demand for privacy coins will most likely increase.

Monero has always been a decent coin, I know this %20 would be affecting the future possible profits but right now bitcoin is making a decent run and I doubt the altcoin rally will start anytime soon.

Yes, you would be right to buy monero, anyone who gets some into their portfolio would be making a great decision but right now I feel like maybe I should holding bitcoin a bit more like at least a month maybe until end of the summer and then buy altcoins which is why I wouldn't get it now. That is not because it won't go up, it will definitely go up but I just feel like there are profits and there are profits, why would I buy and wait for something when I can already make profits as it is right now. However if you already have monero and not going to just buy, then I would suggest holding.

I am still not optimistic about buying Monero for now. When bitcoin shows great movement these days, it's not the right time to buy now. I prefer ethereum and BCH. At least that's what I think has a good chance this season.

Monero is 20% down , because btc went down and thus a whole market do the same . It's a best anonymity cryptocurrency but despite this it is difficult to predict its relevance in the market and its price. It is a more risky asset than bitcoin or ethereum and investing in it you need to be prepared for anything, because no one knows what awaits anonymous coins in the future

im prefer to buy more on etherium, if you really want invest, hold your eth and btc until 2021, you will get big profit like 2017 did.

yes you are right, but it's not bad trying to buy another altcoin too. moreover monero is one good coin. and down 20% is a good time to buy. if I had money, maybe yesterday I bought it. if my prediction is correct, there is no need to wait long even until 2021 to make a profit. because soon the market will return to ATH.

Monero is not that bad but investing in ethereum is better because watching the bitcoin graph I detect that ETH isn't lacking behind but I don't understand why xmr lose 20% value but that doesn't mean xmr is bad ,if you have extra cash its good to buy both

the price decline that occurred in Monero was only a result of a decrease in BTC prices. but in my opinion the investment in ETH is far better than investing in Monero, this is because the quality of ETH is far above the monero.

i think its a accumulating time for monero, im still avaraging since 105$ each, monero is the biggest privacy coin, no doubt for me to averaging and holding this coin
