I’m about to launch a startup and want to access a talent pool where the best blockchain brains reside.

We have a company in the UK but we’re exploring having an operation elsewhere.

Any views on where best to set up??

Setting it up on a crypto friendly would suffice your need. But it doesn't mean that it's going to be successful as quick as you are thinking but at least you have a good start. The best country for me would be Malta or Singapore. I know Singapore has been a good country for start ups, when I've joined a community for people who want to have their start up, many commented on how good Singapore was.
