Bitcoinfees.earn.com is definitely not accurate.

Here are some other places you can look to check fees.

https://bitcoinfees.info/

https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#2,24h

Both should give your an idea of the mempool and what fee's are at this current time.

I'd say 30 blocks - 6 hours maybe.

It all depends on what transactions come up between now and then though and it could be a lot faster since it's a small transaction.

Electrum is saying that 25 blocks are about 100 sat per byte...

There are no accurate tools to estimate the time when the transaction can be confirmed Bitcoinfees.earn.com only gives you prediction.

Let me try to rebroadcast this to help you push the TX then wait for 2hrs to 4hrs to be confirmed.

You can check this https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/17570813355254de88006bdd77cb57b09a7ebad3eaf7de881da96af3dfc80580
from time to time and according to it you priority is 38186/58619 you can use the notify feature and don't the page it well notify you once the transaction confirmed.

I pushed the transaction through viaBTC hours ago, even if I try their "Paid Option" it says "Transaction already added to the queue" .... I think it's been over 4 hours now but it's still unconfirmed.

I understand the fee is a bit low but 12 sat/b fee should have by all indicators been confirmed by now.

Any idea why it takes longer than that?

The same as always... You got caught out by a massive spike in price followed by a massive spike in Bitcoin transactions... followed by a massive spike in fees as everyone man and his brother attempts to cash in on the pump:

Your transaction is still ~18 blocks from the top of the pile... and that is assuming that ZERO more transactions are added. I'd predict your waiting time is going to be several more hours at a minimum.

For the record, bitcoinfees.earn.com is a terrible predictor... you're better off using:
https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,24h
or
https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx

But you should note that unless you put in the "next block" value for the fee, it's quite possible you can get caught out by a massive spike while you're waiting for your "within an hour" fee transaction to confirm Tongue Also, using RBF is a great idea, as you can bump your fee as required if you need faster confirmations when this sort of thing happens.

Thanks, do you know, perhaps, why viaBTC who added this one to the queue hasn't caused this one to get confirmed by now? It added it over 16 hours ago.

They say they will add 100 transactions per hour to their "queue"... but they haven't specified how many from that queue they'll actually add to any block they mine, and they don't necessarily find a block every hour. So, it's quite possible the accelerated queue has become quite long.

Therefore it could take them several blocks before they have clear that queue.

According to my Bitcoin Core: (far) within 24 hours.

I can't help but notice this isn't your first topic on the subject, and yet you're still using legacy addresses with one payment per transaction.
You can try CPFP from one of the outputs if you're in a rush. If it doesn't confirm the coming days, it will most likely get confirmed on Sunday.

You ask people (and software) guess when the recommended fee will basically drop under 12 sat/byte. It's inaccurate by far.
With some luck, you may have a chance in the week-end when the number of transactions made by some businesses could drop a little.
Also if the Bitcoin price stabilizes then the arbitrage bots would also take a break allowing your tx go through (but I cannot really predict when that'll happen).

We paid $26 to BTC.com and it's now okay.
Your assumption about how we use BTC is wrong. Will explain later.
