OK, I think it's fixed now.

Just FYI, for the second day in a row our crawler got banned at around 4AM GMT. Just fixed it. However somehow a new bug was introduced and we lost the posts from 4AM up to now.
Something changed, because this kind of problems were handled properly before.

Again, I'm sorry for those disrupts in the service.

I liked the idea, but...XenForo. I dislike XenForo massively.

Dissertation was about threat modelling on distributed ledgers.

I'm sorry to hear that, is there a specific reason? Just out of curiosity, because the overwhelming majority likes it Smiley

For me, XenForo misses a lot of my beloved features and mods. That's basically it, I could stand it if it had mods say bringing it closer to vBulletin or MyBB, but if it does I rarely see them used.

Using this now. Considering I love XenForo more than SMF, this is great. Smiley Great job!

Great mobile experience so far, I'm only missing an iOS home screen icon.

I am having issues with syncing:

When I click import, the button turns gray and it is not imported.
Also where is the number of posts on the new forum,  I liked that.

Yes, it's a rushed feature that is finished client side (extension side) but was never coded on my side. I need to fix that.

The number of posts is visible in home on the right sidebar, there is also a per-forum counter in the forum list.

When I buy items on this forum I want to see if this someone has just made a new account or is a long term member.
Now I have to click on the name and check their posts, but ideally I would see it right under their profile picture.
But that is just my opinion.

No, you are completely right. However trying to detect scammer is slightly more complicated than that. If you click on the user profile, the informations are loaded using ajax, so you won't have to load another page. Registration date, posts, activity, all there. Also, the activity is used to generate custom user names (as in this forum). Use that as a first filter Smiley
I will try to make some additional informations appear under the avatar/userbit of the post, but I also want to keep it as clean as possible.

Just released what Bitcointa.lk is lol...I thought it was some sort of cached/archived version of this site (and I know now to a degree it is) - anyway just signed up and wont need to bother using this old version anymore.

Nice work!

Is there any way to increase the number of posts per page? I'd like to be able to set it to 100 posts per page so I can just scroll instead of having to find the 'next page' button which is very annoying.

Btw, you should change the forum name to Bitcointalk 2.0 Wink

I'm sorry, but that's global setting. It would have sense to have it, I agree. There is probably a mod for that. I've a list of things to do on Bitcointa.lk that I've delayed for a while, however I'm gonna catch up.

Soon as you attract too much attention, Theymos will disconnect you some how. He's had the resources and plenty of of years to upgrade the bitcointalk.org site to a premier site with awesome, custom software.

Is there a lag? I posted something on the main site and still waiting for it to show up here, 10-15 minutes has gone by.

It's not a lag, it's a problem, unfortunately. I'm looking into it right now. There is a backlog of around 4500 posts.

I doubt it. Theymos & crew have wanted to get rid of this forum altogether for ages. Though at the same time, if this forum wasn't here BC talk would have a lot less traffic lol
