The fake volume thing got me thinking... maybe the delayed altcoin season is partially due to exchanges now having to report correct data to get listed correctly at coinmarketcap. It's certainly a lot easier to pump a junk coin with with fake volume than real volume.

Which may mean only good coins with at least okay-ish volume already will be the benefactors of any altcoin season that arrives.

I have a different opinion. If bitcoin grows very strongly, for example to $25000, then altcoins will start to grow after that. And if bitcoin falls, then altcoins will begin to fall. Everyone saw how altcoins fell after bitcoin for a long time.

Many always say that this is the season of altcoin. They have been saying that since 2015. It is really a shame that altcoins have not been able to get out of bitcoins influence but I think anything positive happening with bitcoin will have the same effect on the altcoins and many who knows this have already taken advantage of that basic knowledge.

Since, bitcoin is making people money and helping them get profit people are putting their fiat currency into bitcoin as well as their altcoins to bitcoin as well. Which means as long as bitcoin keeps making people more and more profits than there would be nobody looking at bitcoin neither.

However, at the same time know as a fact that as soon as bitcoin doesn't make anyone that much money and the amount of profits are diminishing then the price of altcoins will start to go up because people love to make money and they just made money from bitcoin so they will not say "this is enough" and move on, they will want to keep making more profits and just spend all of that bitcoin profits into getting some altcoins.

Can you at least provide the proof? Else you are just spreading the fake news. We know fake volume exists, but it's just applied on newer coins on shit exchanges such as Digifinex where it filled up with bot traders.

One thing I've learned about crypto is that there is nothing sure about it. Thats why it is unpredictable and volatile. You'll never know what will happen. Although you can see signs or indicators but its not a guarantee. When it comes to altcoins, not all of them are worth yout money. Better to study it first then choose the right one for you. Altcoins are better for holding. Sooner or later their season will come.

I am also not 100% sure if altcoins season will come but I am optimistic and I believe that altcoins that are relevant in crypto space will still make good wave in crypto space. I believe the real altcoins with real world  usage will thrive in the future but the irrelevant ones will fade away.
