First of all, I think it will be a great educational video that can explain much for newbies and secondly, this movie can push bitcoin's and altcoin's price reach the sky (don't perceive it literally). A single Netflix movie on crypto won't push the price to insane heights op. Be realistic. It might help BTC surge in a small way, but expecting it to rally like crazy is foolishness. If the Avengers mentioned BTC, it would be a different ball-game though.
As Bitcoin adoption grows over time, more and more TV shows and movies will continue referencing it in many ways. However, negative news can also push its price downwards which is something that can happen at any time.

I heard it was going to be about altcoins entirely because it is a follow up to the documentary about bitcoin. I read that the documentary is going to include David Chaum too which I am a huge fan of because of privacy

Also, one movie is not enough to showcase what crypto is all about. They might not tackle all aspects of it and leave the audience not satisfied what they've seen. But hopefully, they will touch all the significant parts of crypto that an ordinary user will get the grasp of its basics. We need more shows, documentaries and movies to demonstrate what crypto is offering to humanity. |

Great! Netflix has a production studio so I am sure that what they produce will be high quality. There are only a few documentaries on Bitcoin so we need more to be released. |

This is sound good and interesting so that people have an idea on how crypto starts and how it begins. Also they will know the people behind it and the founder will be known if who is really satoshi nakamoto.

That is some good news. Free publicity is what er need right now. There are several other positive news spreading in the market which has already lead bitcoin to create a spike in bitcoin's price.
Bitcoin could cross the ATH before the next halving event and this would create more awareness among the people.

This is great! This is a good way to educate people and spread awareness to everyone. I think if anyone will really watch this, they will really get curious after watching this. I just hope that everything on that documentary will be from reliable source so it will be fair to everyone.

hopefully this documentary will bring positive and better representation of what crypto is all about, crypto needs all the exposure necessary to create more awareness to many people as much as possible, lets see of the world will react to this, will the none crypto community eager to watch a documentary about crypto and understanding what it represent? looking forward to the outcome.

Already today there are several movies of the series about cryptocurrency and it can be noted that in many modern films with a completely different theme, they still begin to mention cryptocurrency. And this contributes to increasing interest in cryptocurrency among people who do not know anything about this.
I agree to that, this process mentioning crypto to a certain movies or any place that can gather wide spread of people to learn about things will give interest, if more to come it will simply increase the popularity and get more attention, even bad publicity can also do help for people to be reach out. it can only gain attention or attraction if the movie is about the positive side or effects about crypto but if not then people will also think negatively about cryptos and they will refrain from using it but some people are open minded and they will think or say that its only a movie and there is nothing personal there . those people can still do thier own research and will still possibly invest on cryptocurrencies . It depends on the viewers, it doesn't mean it's a documentary, it will only give good information about bitcoin. When it says documentary, then all of the information will be stated there even it's good or bad. The important thing is, we knew bitcoin and we will trust it until it blooms again. |

All of their production is high quality but the thing I do worry on this one is on the content itself.If they do film documentary about crypto then they should be on the neutral corner not on being too positively biased or too exaggerated negativity towards it. |

Yeah i completely agree with you, we should do it that way definitely. Calling on the positive aspects and maybe naming the negative where people could fall into like scams. Also, the point of the entertainment industry is precisely to make the research, pass through all the work of making it happen and then publishing and presenting it to the public in an attractive way of course. For what? So they don't have to research by themselves. If you assume that everybody enjoys researching you will be disappointed. It's in fact, the opposite. |

Although the ideas or intentions are good but how do we know the direction they will choose to film the documentary?, just curious of what they actually wanted to do or pass during the film documentary. If they will choose the good side to film and documents, then we would see their action as positive but if against, then negative to the industry.

It seems to me that YouTube is full of various information about cryptocurrency, then Anyone can watch it and study this science. But a company like netflix is required to make a really very interesting film that will attract people from another category who just watch the movie and know nothing about cryptocurrency. It really will be a campaign aimed at increasing the popularization of cryptocurrency.

Our main task now is to raise awareness about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Therefore, the issue of such film will have a very positive impact. I think after that it will be a lot more educated people and many will be interested in crypto.

They should focus on the importance of privacy and have a discussion between OG cypherpunks and privacy pioneers like David Chaum and Nick Szabo. That will really get people talking
