I can only see Ethereum which is following the path of bitcoin.
Others are just staying where they are or are also being dumped in exchange for bitcoin or ethereum.

Please do list some of them so we could review it. Maybe it will be worth the effort if we could make money out of it in trading.

Ethereum isnt moving with Bitcoin. Take a look into BNB. It moves mirrored to BTC.

I can see that price of bitcoin is going up after that dump occurred in the last few days so which might be the time for making our investments on altcoins because looks like altcoins were also just following the path so we will have new all time high price for most of the coins in near future.

however altcoin will always follow the growth of bitcoin. because this is the fact that bitcoin is always binding on the market
I think at the moment the right thing is to choose and wait for the right time when to buy and when to sell.
Daily trading patterns can be a better option before taking a big investment step.

Usually altcoin will adjust bitcoin so mostly will downtrend.
But when I saw a few week ago, bitcoin increase more than 50% and altcoin also increase.

What do it mean ?

Anytime is the best time as long as bitcoin still has not break it's all time high.

Altcoins in general are still cheap, there's only few altcoins that has already rise so far, AFAIK, they are BNB, LTC, and BCH, these are major coins only, there are also a lot of altcoins to consider with great potential, so if you haven't invested yet, try looking around and shop, I tell you they are really cheap and that gives you a better opportunity.

 I'm also buying if I still have more money to risk, but right now, I'm just more on holding since I got FOMOd in the past and I like to recover my losses and the only way I see is a new bull run and I will hold until that time comes .

Yes this is the right to buy alts as well as there is no such movenent on the market these past days, and you should be careful in choosing alts to invest in and always remember invest what you can afford to lose.

Altcoin has started to rise, Dogecoin was the first one to have significant changes, after that some shitcoin follwoed the trend. However, as like bitcoin, I think no big changes will be there.

Yes, most active altcoins are only pumped up and dropped. No new rush assets such as BTT, ONE, as was the spring.
If now is the right time for accumulation, it is difficult to determine what exactly to buy.

Majority of altcoins are not moving even the bitcoin is showing improvement.

But when btc price is turning down altcoins are also following making the price to become lower.

Its not the time of altcoins yet thus its better to buy while the price is cheap because we'll never know when the altcoins will spike.

The worst of the shit coins are having their days. These are coins only on low volume exchanges, some in only one exchange and their pump is ridiculous without any project's update or developments, mere wash trade. Now i dont know where the money for altcoins rally will come from. Those who made profit from bitcoin are buying back again. Maybe the cycle on the space is not yet complete.

Logicly if the altcoins sold/bought using dollar or another currency, they should be following the path of bitcoin.
But, we know that, so many altcoins that are sold or bought using bitcoin or another altcoin such as eth, xrp, etc.
So if that's the fact, when bitcoin is rising, then the altcoins that are sold or bought by it should be fall.
Because it cost more altcoins to afford bitcoins or, less bitcoin to afford the altcoins.

yes some altcoins are always following the path when there's a pump. but it doesn't mean it will constantly rising as well to the top along with bitcoin. Because it just a temporary and still have no stable growth rate unlike bitcoin. So don't rely on bitcoin progress wherein monitor your investment also to avoid losses and to get the right timing to dump.

Ethereum following the path of Bitcoin? Did Bitcoin ever rollback after a hack and then create a fork just so that all their big whales did not lose money?

I can think of a few examples of others who are even closer to Bitcoin than Ethereum. Take Litecoin as the best example. Even though it implements things like segwit before BTC but it does so because it wants to make it safe for BTC to do so.

If i remember some good ideas i read in some white paper for projects in the past and see those projects developers abandoned the road map after raised great amount of money from the investors, I always feel disappointed!  Many project are not in good conditions todays because the investors has been left in the dark. As @Flux0x has said "the developers need to do a lot in other for some of the projects to revive"  if not some of them will soon be deleted from exchanges as there values keep going down against Bitcoin and usdt.

Many investor do practice this because they understand that there is a particular time Bitcoin becomes dominant, so even if they sell their altcoins for bitcoin then, they have still not lost because they will surely still buy back the moment they study that it is the time bitcoin will go sideways. Some of them are big players, and has been in this industry for years, so they understand how the whole system works.

Altcoins too will have its time come very soon, and those portion of it that has been sold will definitely be out back in the market, and also whatever profit they have gotten on them through bitcoin increase will be used to also buy more of the altcoins, so altcoins has the ability to all start spiking up too very soon, once bitcoin can go the direction of consolidation.

I've been also a holder of some altcoins and almost all of them are in downtrend due to the continuing bitcoin rally but I also believe that an altcoin season will happen again so I'll keep holding them. But if you have bitcoin holdings,then it will offset the loss from your altcoins. Altcoins' time may come anytime so if you are planning to buy more altcoins then it is the right time to buy while their prices are still lower.

   Many coins are 20% down today, my portfolio looks bad in this moments. I have many coins too, and it`s not nice too see the prices going down. I`m not
a trader, as holder I get used to this situations. What bothers me is that I don`t have cash to buy every time when that happens. I have limited amount for
investing in crypto-currencies.
   I will keep holding no matter what happens, too. It`s like that with us long-term holders, we are not quitters.
