An interesting discussion on the discord channel. partnership: And fix cards that will be owned by our community? I think we will need customer friendly solution for using them anyway? Edwin [new.capital]Bчepa, в 16:06 Sure, the SIM card currently will offer data roaming services and the use is very friendly. To use the SIMs is as your crypto wallet or a hardware security element to be included into your FIX ID policy, a user will need to enroll a private key. In current version this action will require a technical knowledge. There are two options to be released in 1.0: A) Use Electrum bitcoin wallet on PC or Mac with our provided plugin and a USB smart card reader (purchased separately, we will provide recommendations for a model and vendor). This setup will allow private key generation or importing using the Electrum wallet and then enrollment, signatures and transactions with the SIM card in the smarcard reader too. This is the most secure setup as it can be used fully offline and air-gapped. b) To enroll an existing private key (means a user already has a key, or has to generate elsewhere) using the SIM menu on the phone (not an app, but the application in the SIM card) available on any phone, even old Nokia. This will not require usb cable, but the key must be entered in BIP32 standard, in 8 chunks of 16 characters. If a user has the key backup in BIP39 or so called mnemonics (the 24 seed words) - means the user will have to convert it using an offline converter - also not very convenient, but it actually works. Future updates will include UX improvements and BIP39 import feature too, this is in actually progress, and is planned to be released in the next software update when fully tested. Once private key is enrolled (with usb cable or via the SIM application) the setup will allow for the SIMs to sign on messages related to FIX ID policies as a secure hardware device, for example to login to NCE or withdrawal of funds. However, to sign on bitcoin transaction using the cellular network, additional plugins will be required from wallet developers. We plan to publish bounties to write one for Electrum, TWINS and FIX right after the release of the API. https://discord.gg/MENM7fY

ddyas: I have a question, if FIX partnered with local mobile operator does it means this mobile operator or local government know the data thats going in and out on FIX network? One more, what is the function of FIX coin then? Is it as fee to use FIX services or FIX users need to stake some FIX coin to use FIX services or both? Edwin [new.capital]: When FIX partners with local partner, this will enable the users to use their primary phone number as FIX ID, and they will be able to store their private keys on SIM cards provided by the local partner, or use FIX SIMs with local phone calls and data plans. The data (internet traffic) is visible by the local carrier, the carriers’ ISP, and of course the government can always get access if they want. This is true regardless if the SIM is provided by the local operator or by FIX. If by “data” you mean usage of the cryptographic signatures going in and out from the SIM, then these messages are visible to local operator and the government anyway, regardless of FIX partners or using roaming agreement. But they only see the existence of the cellular messages, not necessarily the contents of the signature or transaction. @ddyas Edwin [new.capital]: FIX coin will be required to store or change data in your blockchain-based security policy. For example, you will be able to setup 5 of your best friends that 3 of them will be required to verify you in the event of phone or sim replacement - so called “recovery policy”. Theses blockchain transaction fees will be burned and then mined again by the masternode operators. You may think “but I don’t see my grandpa buying FIX coins on a crypto exchange and pays TX fee to change his personal security policy”. Well, you will be correct, this will be really a rear use case, because most of the users will get unlimited changes in their policy directly in their mobile subscription plan. The same as you don’t buy SMS or voice traffic on the free market (although you could) for your mobile phone, you get it all included in your monthly subscription plan. MNOs (mobile operators) however, this is exactly what they do for living, buying traffic of data, voice, SMS and sometimes other content in wholesale and pack it in a simple to monthly package. The same with FIX, we expect them to offer the secure digital Identity service included in plans, and they will cover the network TX expenses on behalf of the user. They could buy FIX coins on the free market, or it would make much more sense to setup masternodes on their data centers - provide infrastructure resources to the FIX blockchain, but also mine back the new coins required for network consumption. https://discord.gg/MENM7fY

vcxv: @Edwin [new.capital] Can you give us some clarification regarding FIX ID App and 2FA App? are these two separate? is FIX Id app is the one on the sim card and not a standalone app ? Edwin [new.capital]Bчepa, в 21:14 FIX ID app - is iOS and Android applications to onboard and get your FIX ID number, login to services, manage your policies and SIM cards. Anyone will be able to join FIX for free. SIM cards are the hardware security element to enhance your security, but not required to use the FIX ID App. The FIX SIMs are equipped with an application installed on the chip, that is capable to interact with user via phone settings -> SIM application interface, smarcard reader or with the secure core component at the cellular operator called OTA GW. The OTA GW is the interface to update the software and also send signature or transaction requests to the SIMs over the cellular signaling infrastructure. vcxv: @Edwin [new.capital] Now in one of your above posts you mention two methods to enroll FIX SIM as secure hardware wallets but none of them mention of FIX ID app. In future, would it be possible to use FIX ID app to setup the FIX sim as crypto wallet, because I believe that would be the easier way of doing this. Edwin [new.capital]Bчepa, в 21:26 Smartphone OS do not provide access to the SIM chip, and FIX ID can only communicate with the SIM over the internet to the OTA GW, and then over the signaling. The only way to use FIX ID app (that is iOS and Android) to enroll the key would by sending a command to the SIM card to generate a new key inside the SIM (not yet available, but on a roadmap). Importing an existing key using the FIX ID app or any other way that is not directly with the SIM would mean a user is transporting the key over internet. It is very convenient, but also very insecure. We even don’t consider the signaling network to be secure enough to transport the key, unless we use additional layers of security, like sharing. This is how you access SIM application on iOS, @vcxv https://discord.gg/MENM7fY

This is the newest platform from the team that can be used to connect all platforms using various login authentication methods. Both from social media and e-mail, the platform is active but still not connected to the exchange. Still need time and some tests to prevent bugs and other unwanted things. https://staging.new.capital/https://discord.gg/yEgCjDy

Masternode.Online Data Update and Listing Currently you can use their platform as usual again because they have updated the FIX masternode tier statistical data. The data they are currently producing is more or less the same as the data that has been directly generated by the team. So you don't need to worry about checking data using their platform again. https://masternodes.online/currencies/FIX-1M/

Edwin [new.capital]: Attention!
We are planning to launch a new user onboarding campaign. The idea is to airdrop free TWINS to every new user that registers to the New Capital Exchange. Users could trade or withdraw the funds with no KYC, for example to stake or use shared MN service, or keep the TWINS to save on trading fees.
We would also like to introduce trading fees on the New Capital Exchange. Normal fees would be as follows: 0.25% taker and 0.25% maker.
For users that hold TWINS on their balance, the fees would be as follows: 0.1% taker and 0.1% maker. In addition, the following transaction fees would be applied and paid automatically from the TWINS balance: 1 TWINS to create an order 1 TWINS to cancel an order 1 TWINS to full or partial order matching The transaction fees in TWINS would later become adjustable using a voting mechanism by masternode operators, or we may pilot with self-adjustable algorithms. All the collected TX fees would be donated to the TWINS DEV Fund, once a month. The idea is to simulate the fee mechanism for the future win.win DEX, “test-drive” the use of TWINS and make TWINS usable for the airdrop. What do you think? Let's discuss this on the #exchange channel. https://discord.com/invite/ZWV2Hhc

KYC is currently not an absolute requirement for using NCE. But before using NCE, you should know that each conclusion will be done manually (takes less than 1 hour) for the verification process. Any questions that arise are quickly resolved on the discord channel. https://new.capital/exchange/trade/FIX_BTChttps://discord.com/invite/ZWV2Hhc

Edwin [new.capital]: We are planning to release a new version of NCE (New Capital Exchange) tomorrow. The upcoming features are: 1. Decimals will be limited to 10 (one BTC would appear like this: 1.00000000 00) 2. Improvements to the matching algorithm when using reversed pairs. The amounts will be rounded up or down to fully match the order. 3. Trading fees will be introduced with the following schedule:
Standard trading fees will be: 0.25% taker/maker. Reduced trading fees of 0.1% taker/maker will be introduced to users with positive TWINS balance. Transaction fee of 2 TWINS per order will be charged automatically. If no TWINS balance available, the standard trading fees will be applied. All the collected TWINS fees will be sent to the TWINS dev fund. https://new.capital/exchange/trade/FIX_BTC

Edwin [new.capital]: Introduction of trading fees on the New Capital Exchange We are excited to introduce the first version of commercial activity of the New Capital Exchange. We are also very excited to introduce the first implemented version of future win.win DEX token economics. The purpose of this is simulation is to “test-drive” the use case and motivate traders to use TWINS for discounted trading fees.
Exchange standard trading fees are: 0.25% taker/maker
. Trading fees will be reduced to 0.1% taker/maker for users with positive TWINS balance. In that case a transaction fee of 2 TWINS per order will also be charged automatically. If no TWINS balance is available, the standard trading fees of 0.25% taker/maker will be applied and no transaction fee will be charged. All the collected fees in TWINS will be deposited to the TWINS Dev fund address, monthly. In addition, the latest update includes improvements to matching algorithm for reversed pairs. The total amounts will be rounded up or down to fully match the order. We have also limited the decimals for all cryptocurrencies from 16 to 10.
Happy trading, and please share your feedback on the #exchange channel. BTW, if you already have open orders, it could be cost-efficient for you to cancel them and create new ones with TWINS transaction fee paid. https://discord.gg/ZWV2Hhc

Yuri K [new.capital]: Hi. I'm glad to announce new easy to use installation script for TWINS & FIX masternodes. The script will allow to install multiple masternodes on the same host, assuming you have enough IP addresses (or can add new ones) In order to install, you will need : 1) Brand new VPS (Debian 10 recommended). If you intend to run multiple nodes - your VPS MUST have IPv6 configured ! 2) Log-in as root 3) run the following command : wget -q -O - https://git.io/Jf5Wu | sh And follow the instructions. You can add 1 TWINS and 1 FIX masternode for each IP address you have. The script will also allow to add additional IPv6 addresses (you must get the list of addresses you can use from your VPS vendor ) Installed masternodes will auto-update when required ! I.e. you will not need to re-download and re-install when new version will be released. But you still may need to re-activate masternode (using start-alias) in case of protocol change. If something doesn't work for you, please exit the script (by pressing ESC-ESC or Ctrl^C) and right after that run the following command : masternode_upload_debug It will produce the code , which we can use to troubleshoot your case.

Edwin [new.capital]: New feature has been released - "Clusters" You are now welcome to enter an address and see if this address belongs to group of other addresses and see their total transactions, volumes and balances. Check New Capital Exchange Cluster for FIX here: https://chain.review/explorer/fix/cluster/5ea9b0e5c0e2d2141f9aa435Crypos for FIX: https://chain.review/explorer/fix/cluster/5ea9afe7c0e2d2141f9a6436Alex [new.capital]: When receiving transactions from third parties, I as a user want to know if these assets arrive from a legit source and were not marked as suspicious. Otherwise, if I would accept digital assets that were seen in a money laundering or similar illegal activities and later on transfer them to a trading or settlement platforms, my hard earned assets might be seized and account frozen until further investigations. chain.review is a great tool that will assist all the community members to stay away from fraudsters, exploiters, money launders and etc. Similar tools are widely adopted by crypto exchanges and fin-tech companies, but unfortunately these features were not available for the end users. Edwin [new.capital]: Chain Review is liberating the data to everyone, not only to exchanges or data mining organizations. With chain.review the NCE and our community will be much more safe. Safety will always be is our top priority, but we also think that these features will create value for other projects to join us. More cool features are coming towards this direction. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cluster_analysis
