Mandatory FIX wallet update has been released.
This is the last planned release for this chain and it is required for our migration preparations to FIX 2.0
Coin swap is expected in early 2022.

In this version:
* Protocol changed to 70926 which will be enforced on block height 622'222 - estimated date: 12 November 2021.
* Pre-planned block reward halving mechanism will reduce the reward gradually during the next 5 month to 2 FIX per block. The first halving event will occur in about two weeks after the enforcement, target block height: 633'333, estimated date: 28 November, 2021. The last halving event targeted at block height: 694'444, estimated date: 24 February 2022.

PLEASE NOTE: Masternode restart is required and it is recommended to perform the update before block 622,222, to avoid network split.

This update is mandatory. Please update your hosting masternodes. Shared masternodes will be restarted automatically.
Update guide for hosted nodes:
1. Go to My masternodes -> Details -> Click on "Update now"
button -> confirm an update -> wait till masternodes on Crypos will have "Ready to start" status (will take 2-3 hours approximately) -> start your nodes from a local wallet.

Morning team!

When we release updates for wallet.app, sometimes these features are visible on the mobile app, and sometimes on the web site, so to avoid confusion, we’ve added web/app tag. “Sandbox” means it is already accessible for internal testing, for example sandbox.new.capital while “dev” means only on the development environment and accessible for developers only. We also have “staging” environment that is available for public testing, for example staging.new.capital and the last production phase “live”

“Bit-like” assets means blockchains that are similar to Bitcoin, like LTC, BCH, Dash and even PIVX based coins. The reason we decided to list all these is technical as it doesn’t require development resources, only dev-ops, as we have done the required development to integrate with this type of wallet. The plan was to start listing all of them by simply going through the list of top market cap assets, but the decision now is to delay these listings as we also want to list them on chain.review, however, the current architecture requires full node hosting twice - once for NCE and another node for chain.review. The plan is now to redesign this and avoid the double cost of infrastructure.

Sending funds by phone number is not yet possible on our services, as it requires both NCE and wallet.app services to be fully tested and promoted to the same environment. I believe it will be available on “staging” in a week, and if no issues, to “live” in another week.

 An update from yesterday’s sync meeting

DONE
 Architecture redesign for chain.review has been completed, the conclusion:
     the combination of two services (NCE+chain.reivew) with a single node may have impact on NCE security, therefore combination is not an option
     by redesigning the chain.review database structure, we’ve believe we can save from 2 to 3.5 times on database size, by removing unnecessary blockchain data and by indexing the same data fragments like TXID or addresses
     by rewriting the backend parsers with Golang in combination of the reduced size database we could speedup the synchronisation time and save on CPU and RAM resources
    by moving the parser and the database to the node server for each blockchain, we could distribute and decentralize the total resources needed for the chain.review project, allowing for cheaper maintenance and higher availability of the service.
 Improved anonymity on our proxy infrastructure
 Crypto transfer by phone number has been promoted to web sandbox
 Design for email confirmation screen for wallet.app (app)
 Improved email template design
 Email text has been improved with 30 mins limitation included
