Most of these cryptocurrencies died out when they ran out of funds due to the marathon Ethereum slump in price in 2018, I Do not see any revival for these projects because buying them off is as expensive as creating your brand new Erc20 token needed to tokenise your startup

The only idea that I can give you is to look for coins that you know has a very great project and product, but went dead as a result of lack of quality push by the developers, the project might look dead, but the developers are still alive on it and doing the best they can do, but the time these developers becomes more active is when bitcoin starts going sideways, and the moment altcoins starts to pick, every of those developers that you see are dead becomes very active.

Those developers would also want to push their project to the influx of investors that will be making lots of altcoins purchase during that time, and you know how investors get to know about some project, through advert, so they will push some adverts and probably get enough investors that will push it up, but we need to be careful, because the increase would not last.

What about organizing a cemetery of dead coins? to write the reason why they are dead, so that everyone would learn on past mistakes.

Just google them and you will find a bunch of websites that are showing all the dead coins. Unfortunately, this list continues to grow, because of many scams and poor projects, which makes me think about the general future of crypto and if even big projects are going to make it at all.

I guess you have a lot of it, why not look for a solution or ideas or pay a bounty on how to make money out of abandoned coins

We call something as dead cryptos when it doesn't have any value and can't be exchanged on any platforms which means its simply dead and no money can be made with that.

You even need to spend ethereum to move that dead cryptos as gas fee on your own.

Sometimes it's easier to forget about old projects and create a new one I think. Many ideas were good a couple of years ago but now they are useless. The other way is trying to integrate some new features to old projects...

but new projects may not necessarily get investors and development funds to run new projects. although there are still many fresh ideas, but to make a community that has been formed just believe in a new project will not be easy.

You can use search engine to get lists of dead coins since bitcoin early days, if you are holding any coin that are dead there is no solution to them at all, just pretend you never hold them, there is no way to revive whats already dead

You are right, those who are dead and thrown out of the market will never be traded or returned to the market. for whatever reason, a coin that is dead and when you still have it is certainly a regret.

I have seen situations where a dead coin was made active again by the community members.  One or more of the community member organizes a community take over from the old dev, then get a new dev and team members and the swap old coins to a new one, blockchain and new wallet.

Don't even bother, tell me have you come across any abandoned project that get taken over by new dev and did fine later on? NO! they are all bad projects that needs to stay dead, i have 4 different coins that got taken over by new dev but they later get abandoned

Let me give an example in which I think for me can be considered as one of the dead coin mate, if you know Latoken you can see that there was a listed coin to this platform that has no volume which are GOT, VTM, IDEAL, are all dead coin to me. NO buyers and no sales also.

You can start shilling these cryptocurrencies, trying to list them on some exchange and I believe that you will find fools who buy it.
Although recently people are more aware and cautious about buying tokens.

They were probably looking for coins with unique and useful features. It is also possible that the intention was profit-driven. They most likely have regretted it If that's the case.

By the way, it's weird to sell "decentralized" cryptocurrencies . I mean, how do you sell something you don't control?

Too many cryptocurrency coins are already dead, even before they get listed on coinmarketcap.
Some dead crypto can be exchanged on dex, but the price is usually very low.
You cannot make big money from it, just forget it.

That's possible of course, in the past, there are a lot of dead coins that rise because of the bull run so maybe some are also expecting it will happen again when the bull run arrives again. They are only called dead coin because they lost its volume but you buyer should be wise enough to analyze the coin you are going to buy as maybe the seller are not aware that the team is still working and that will give the buyer a good value .

I think you have to sell to get a little money, compared to you holding without producing anything. Trade with these coins despite low prices. I think that by trading you will get a little profit.
