 Sad

The market was unstable and I decided to long. Pressed SWAP from USD PAX to BTC for more than 400 USD, and 24USD to Ether. They both failed and the message on the blockchain App stated:"Exchange blocked". So I suppose that their exchange algorithm works only "stable" market situation and with unstable you will 100% lose money as of course with all the other crypto exchanges. So stick to Trezor ONLY. This stainless steel plate will save your life one day.

Can someone help me. The blockchain support takes at least a month for reply and in the App it stated that the funds will be returned automaticaly, but they're NOT after one day  Grin Wink . I have also written to Paxos and they replied:

Support replied:
Hi,

Unfortunately we cannot provide any response to this inquiry as this is related to the Blockchain platform. Your request should be handled by Blockchain support.

So take care and watch you six.  Smiley

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Just wanna let you know that your problem requires staff from blockchain.com in order to be solved and there's no one here. However, that doesn't mean posting here is useless bc you could still get advice from users and let ppl know what you experienced.

You could try your luck in twitter https://twitter.com/blockchain.

and yes, blockchain.com is worth ditching, doesn't matter which service you use. They're the type that would rather add more stuff that would bring more users rather than fixing the current problems they have. It is known to be buggy and that becomes more evident whenever a surge of users comes in.

there are better options when it comes to wallet and trading.

True story and this would continue as long they can able to pull out new users without minding too much on fixing their problems.
Its sad that they dont tend to fix fully on their buggy platform. No one can help out regarding on OP's situation but only with Blockchain itself. So the waiting game begins.

There are 3 possible reasons why you are getting this error "exchange blocked".

1. Blockchain might need KYC verification before you can swap any token/coins.
2. Since PAX is ERC20 token ethereum base maybe you need ETH balance to pay the gas fee before you can swap the USD PAX.
3. Or this might be a bug.

Let me know are you using a mobile phone when trying to swap the token? It might be a bug so try to swap it through their website directly.

You can follow this guide How do I place a Swap order?

Thanks for reply. I was using Ipad 6.

I had enough ether. I even swaped for some ether and it also failed.

You should also take into account that the blockchain.com actually HOLD YOUR PRIVATE KEYS otherwise they will not be able to charge you those incredible fees for transaction. So as you undestand in "D" day they will just say: " We have no bitcoins. "

I believe this is a bug from blockchain.com platform when they are trying to swap/buy BTC on their integrated or partnered exchange. Or else the other reasons were given by Bitmaxz.

Contact them through submitting a request: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Choose
Quote
Swap: For Crypto to Crypto Exchange Issues

They will respond through email.

What they do hold is the encrypted version, having an access would be a different story since when you generate your seed and encrypt/decrypt them, it is done client side.

and if you're talking about the miner fees, none of those goes to blockchain.com as it goes to the miners. you can always confirm this in any block explorer.
