I agree with that. Altcoins are like the second chance for the people who didn't jump into cryptocurrency as early as the other people here. To be successful in investing in altcoin, you need to pay a lot of time and effort in researching for the best option for altcoin investing because there is a lot of them and most of them are just useless and a crap in the market. It is possible for some altcoins to be like bitcoin in terms of return.

Most altcoins are only a second chance to get rich for those scammers that are releasing them, for everyone else most altcoins are just another form of losing their money, it is just better to stick with bitcoin and forget about most altcoins, it is true that you're not going to get the same profits as those that invested early on bitcoin, but that should not matter, what it should matter is whether or not you can get profits.

I never thought bitcoin could reach more than 10 times in 2017 compared to 5 years ago. maybe luck was not in me because at that time I was afraid to save a lot of bitcoin. no one knows for sure, what will happen in the next 5 years. but I'm still optimistic that bitcoin will make me happy in the future. 5 years ago can be a memory for all of us, that bitcoin can make someone happy now.

Unfortunately, I only started knowing about bitcoin around the year 2017 when its price were around $4,000-$5,000 per coin. I remember participating in campaign signatures where 0.004 BTC was worth around 4$ (and that's per week!). I never imagined it crossing the boundaries and reaching even $19,000 at the bull run of the last quarter of 2015.

People are still expecting that bitcoin will reach an all-time high in the future. Due to its continuous decreasing supply, expect its price to significantly increase overtime.

the past was really fun, in fact, I also sold a lot of bitcoin that I got before the pump that happened in 2017. remembering that makes me quite disappointed until now.

I remember those years when the bitcoin is not that popular enough or have a huge value, I once own a 2 bitcoin from the past years and I sell it to another person into a peer to peer or what we called meet up, we exchange bitcoin and money in front of us. But I am happy for the person we're I sell my bitcoin, I thought he have already an idea that bitcoin will grow this much. That's the problem since Bitcoin was been used by most ponzi business before and the impressions of people got engaged with scams and illegal
activities. Lucky to those who able to go deeper and not to lose hope after being scammed and continue to find those good ways to recover and

For $651~ you could of got yourself a shiny whole bitcoin on coinbase plus their $6.66 fee.
I wouldnt of mind paying this fee on top regardless.
Even if they were asking 10% of the purchase amount at the time which is probably more by now.

Maybe when you open the history of bitcoin withdrawal maybe you have make big mistake where you sell your bitcoin with lower price, why not hold bitcoin for five years later and now how higher price of bitcoin, I got 5 bitcoin in my wallet but I sell it with lower price and now I am very disappointed because if hold and sell my bitcoin today I think I have earn much profit.

even though there was a terrible crash, I don't think they would have the courage to buy it in large quantities, many were afraid to buy when it crashed. and under these conditions, bitcoin does not increase in price. their fear seemed to lack confidence in the development of bitcoin later

Today is happening what back in 2015 people could only dream about. Keep accumulating whenever you can, even if it's just $10-$50 per week/month. Dollar cost averaging is a great way to buy into Bitcoin as non technical person.

Today we look at $600 thinking it's low, but the same will happen to current levels when we're 5 or so years away from now. It will suck thinking back about how much you could have had by now if you bought the current dip.

I have been thinking selling off some shit coins in portfolio to start accumulating bitcoin now because we are still going to out leave now and talk about the times of now just as five years ago from now. I still remember early 2017 that bitcoin was nearly close to $1,000.

Know what? I joined this forum back in 2012. And back then, the exchange rate was somewhere between $5 and $10 per coin. A lot of people used to complain that a few months back, the prices used to be around $0.10 per coin and Bitcoin has become too expensive. I purchased my coins at that time, and despite all those complaints, it still gave me almost 1,000x returns (100,000%).

And by mid-2013, the prices increased to $260 per coin. Then the guys were complaining that the prices used to be in single digits in 2012. And imagine what happened when the prices shot up to $1260 per coin by December 2013.

Then for a while things were relatively calm. And it went on till 2017, when Bitcoin suddenly spiked to $20,000 per coin. And after that the OP posted this thread....
