Yes, they truly deserve negative trust. Most of the bounty managers are dubious in their behavior and they always want all the bounty funds. Some of them even go extra mile by asking bounty participants to submit KYC which the team doesn't tell him to do so. By so doing, once participants are not able to pass KYC the bounty manager divert all the fund to his pocket.

It is indeed disgusting. I happened to be a victim once by this kind of unfairness. What happened was the first bounty manager was fired and they gave it to someone else who was so inexperienced and had no knowledge about handling bounties. He jumbled percentage of payment to all areas according to his own decision and everyone who complains will be kicked out from the channel and not be paid. This one is something else but to just change the rules for no reason but to favor the pocket of the bounty manager, that is an absolute cheating.

But the law also says that, team or bounty manager can alter any change

Hey guys, having discussions here about bounty abuses are good but all these won't go anywhere unless one of you creates a post on the scam accusation board and create a flag against that particular bounty campaign.

we will not be able to do anything if it happens like that. bounty manager changes the rules based on requests and agreements from the developer. everything is written, if the bounty manager and team can change the rules at any time. we approve it, we must continue to accept it even though we are the losers.

Yes it is there are so many abusive bounty managers and developers, I would like to lay out some of these abuses, they announced that they will not ask for KYC but after the campaign, they are asking bounty hunters to go through KYC now, they locked the bounty hunters tokens indefinitely, these two are some of the worse abuse they give to their bounty.

Can you tell who they are, I also participated in a lot of bounty. However, it is only the case that the team deliberately delays the time to distribute tokens, in some cases they will almost forget them

Almost every bounty i suffered from this change of rules. I read the rules carefully, did everything right but in the end i got %10 of what i earned. But there is no place to apply about this abuse so i let it go.

Although stated that they can change the rules anytime but it should not be to the point that they are going to abuse their bounty hunters like delaying the bounty hunters rewards for so many times like what Adab has been doing for a very long time and not giving definite time to distribute.

just one rule at the beginning of the bounty campaign can change all the rules at anytime. So when you are on a bounty campaign and you see where it is written that "THE TEAM OR BOUNTY MANAGER HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ANY RULES" then know that anything can happen in the rules stated earlier

Not only forgetting about the distribution but sometimes they will not reduce the bounty because they are jealous of the money they raised. Before ICO, owners of the company are very pleasing manner but after the ICO, they will not care about the bounty hunters.

To be honest, all bounties and all programs, whether you like it or not, should be able to reserve the rights to amend the campaign as per the conditions of the business and market. I love the campaigns I've participated in because they've always done this. Advised participants on how to change behavior. Adjusted pay rates (sometimes adjusted up to so that's nice).

Totally agree with you. Unfortunately, more and more often we are confronted with such an injustice. Most of the bounty campaigns in which I participated recently (but not all!) are playing a dirty game. Campaign rules change at the last moment or even after the campaign has been completed.
Someday I would like to see regulatory authorities for interactions of a similar nature.

The problem with most bounty hunters is that they don't read instruction before joining a campaign, you can't expect a project that promised $100k before ICO and failed to reach half of its hardcap to give out the same amount promised after the ICO. One thing I want to stress is that, if a bounty manager is found out, that person need to be given negative trust.

But this rule that they do change would have been towards the end of the campaign, and by that time, will any bounty hunter be able to withdraw their actions? Or any campaign they have done so far? Many of them would not state some rules at the beginning of the thread, this issue of locking bounty hunters, do you think they will ever state it in their rules? If they had stated it, I am sure there will Not be any single bounty hunter that will participate.

Most of these people changing rules are typically scams, because I dint see reason why you would want to lock people’s coin after they have worked. I think there should be another strategy that will protect the bounty hunters because that is really so unfair to them, they deserve their wages after being paid.

Bounty managers dont have a problem here. The real problem are the bounty hunters due to the reason that is not following the rules that is stated of the bounty managers or admin which its easy to understand that's why BM are doing some sudden changes because of idiotic and cheater participants

However, normally most bounties will have a rule that states they can change the rules whenever. So that usually covers the bounty managers and the company.

That said, it's never fun to have your work go unappreciated with this kind of change.
