Hi,
I read so much inaccurate information here about privacy
coins. And I don't say inaccurate to be disrespectful.
I think a lot of it has to do with people wanting to make money.
All of these have very solid tech.

Monero
Dash
KMD-Komodo
XZC-ZCoin
ZEN-Horizen

Privacy Coins

All of these have very solid tech.

They are just a cryptocurrencies, No need to name them privacy cryptocurrencies. Money is to be fungible, so it need opaque ledger. Transparent ledger cryptocurencies cant be fungible and should be named transparent ledger cryptocurrencies, while opaque ledger cryptocurrencies are just normal cryptocurrencies.

You would be surprised about AEON tech.

AEON is a lightweight outdated version of Monero.

And, if you want to argue semantics, make sure your grammar
is on point.

Missed Spectrecoin (XSPEC) from the list

For very low marketcap with huge room for growth should also include PRiVCY (PRIV)

Too many privacy coins in the market with many claiming to be better than Zcash or Monero yet I wonder why these two have better trade volume and adoption than the new ones. Does it mean that cryptocurrency community are not really after the new technologies springing up recently

Zcash and Monero are the two good ones as far as I can see. I am a bit uncertain as to which way we will go with privacy coins. Mainstream adoption of crypto involves submitting to a lot of regulation and legislation, which is generally against the purpose of privacy coins. But then as transparent ownership and KYC become more established, there is a greater need for such privacy coins.

Why not DeepOnion?
It has privacy tech like stealth address, coming DeepSend (work has been started) and run on the TOR. It has also have DeepVault which usecase is being increase gradually. I think someday it will be one of the leading privacy coin.

I am paying attention to a new coin, GRIN, which has a highly rated technology and is about to carry out hardfork in a few weeks. I believe there will be a strong growth for GRIN later this year.

Some people said that the masternode coin can't be included as privacy coin consider that's centralized. GRIN is a new coin but that looks very promising. what do you think the tech that will lead the privacy technology? they have their own tech and can we judge them all in the same position?

I've mentioned it to death, but I'm a big fan of PIVX--not necessarily because it's a privacy coin (I don't convert any PIV to zPIV), but because I earn by staking, and it's so easy to do.

I'm wondering what the reason is for these privacy altcoins.  They don't get used on the dark web as far as I know, which is where you'd really want privacy.  Maybe it's just to hide one's wealth?  In any case, I'm a poor old crypto fan who doesn't really have much wealth to hide and privacy is way down on the list of my concerns.

PIVX is dead. Now all speculators will go on VEIL. It is the same creator and PIVX has, after the creation of VEIL, lost value even more quickly .. Chance? I do not think so! So if you have Pivx, I advise you to buy Veil!
Personally I'm not a fan of Veil, but when I see the performance of Pivx, while it's technically shit, I prefer to have a little veil in my wallet ...

And it's never good to stay on a project, just because you earn money passively, it's a mistake!

I think people tend to privacy more often not because of great wealth and the desire to hide it, but just to feel more comfortable when no one is watching or controlling their purchases. The Internet has come quite strongly into the territory of confidentiality and it has become very little. For example, I like that I can buy something on the Internet or buy coffee and no one will know what it was and where I purchased it.

I didn't know this much and I have been staying with Monero and Zcash.

What will be the features of your help support in your discord group?
I mean, they are all over youtube and telegram so what else could you offer?

There have been a lot of analyst out there that gives a lot of insight of the 2 coins that I know but with other I do not know. Maybe you could give some little tips here before we could go way beyond that.

I'd agree that if the only reason you hold a coin is to earn money through staking, then that is generally not enough reason to hold it. You really also need to believe in the long-term success of the project - if you don't, then the chances are that your staking income will slowly dry up as the coin stagnates or fails.

Of course if you believe in the coin and you earn through staking, then that is a very good reason to hold. And we can go a step further as well, with coins that offer master nodes, which can offer genuinely large rewards - although unfortunately master nodes are out of reach of both my personal experience and my wallet.

According to stakingrewards.com you make 10% yearly and about 0,8% monthly by staking it. Is it really worth it ? Are you making money?
Because it seems that slight change in price wipes your staking reward out.

Would like to get some good article on the comparison between privacy coins.

I don't really see a need for privacy coins exept for maybe Monero or Dash.
Don't see what all these new coins bring to the table, they're just trying to be the "new" monero or whatever, which just wont happen with all the competition out there.

Betting on privacy isn't a bad choice, but imho I wouldn't put much of my portfolio in a low cap privacy coin.

What is outdated on AEON?  Can you elaborate that please.

My point stands. Monero is not a privacy coin. Monero is true digital cash. It is made the way as a good cryptocurrency should be.  If other coins that are made wrong call them self cryptocurrency or coins, that dont mean that Monero that is made as it should be should be named private crypto coin.
