I have a silly question and please if this post is some where just point me to it and let me apologize ahead of time I just want able to find it, but I've done my research and I still cant seem to find or get a straight answer. I am looking for some type of setup that can mine 1 to 3 coins per day.

Now I am sure cost is very high and I fully understand that, but curious about what type of setup can provide that number, my electric cost is $0

Thanks
Sean

Well maybe I should explain myself, sorry. I am trying to figure out the hardware needed to produce that type of result.

Currently this is what I am building for a friend - Would love to hear you guys thoughts and expected results on it?Huh?

CM Silent Pro Gold 1200w
Crosair AX860 PSU
MSI BBXPower II S2011 - X79, 8xDDR3 128GB max
Intel Core i7 4960X CPU
ASUS AMD R9 290X 4GB  = x4
DDR 16GB 2400MHz Dual
NZXT 200mm Fan = x2
Crosair Hydro H110 Fans (water cooled)

All feed backs are welcome Smiley

With this setup probably DOGE is best choice at this time Smiley

4x 290s will do a tiny fraction of a bitcoin per day. To get 1btc per day you need about 10TH these days. That's about $30,000 investment (which you will likely be scammed out of anyway). You will also need an industrial grade power feed along with a babysitter to make sure it stays running.

Don't mine BTC directly with anything but ASIC. You can mine scrypt coins and exchange for btc. I leave some LTC and convert some DOGE/LTC to BTC.

Also note, graphics card prices are plunging. Scrypt ASIC has arrived. Gamers will rejoice since miners will dump massive gfx power on eBay. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, yes I was looking at a 30 to 50k investment on my part, and power is 0 cost.
