No more discord, the bitcoin talk thread does not take replies, and not twitter, no website.
Does anyone know what happened?

I'm not familiar with this MCT, does it have an exchange already? if they don't have any communication like what you had mentioned in the above, it means the MCT coin was already abandoned or one of the dead coin in my opinion. So, if you have a coins of MCT, well you must accept or admit that you take it as charge experience.

I think this coin is dead and buried.  They had a "hack" a couple of months ago and lost a bunch of money.  They "claim" one of their Dev's left a laptop open and unattended at a public location, which was logged into their site, and someone walked up and made off with a bunch of BTC and other funds.  Some claim it was an inside job but I don't really know the facts, just what was posted on Discord before they shut it down.  They claimed they were in the process of refunding stolen funds.  However, they seem to have totally disappeared now.  My guess, and it is just a guess, they were in too deep to refund the money, closed shop and left town.  Too bad.  I have thousands of MCT coins and was getting some decent POS rewards.  The coin was pretty much worthless though.  It wasn't being traded on any exchange.  Would be nice if they came back, but when a coin just abruptly goes dark like this one did, it is probably another coin for the "what ever happened to" file.

There no more point wasting your precious time on the project mate, once that are already showing that signs, then it is obvious that they have already left the project, then I am sorry for their investors. If they have entered an exchange, anyone that can still sell their coin should better do now, but if they have not entered an exchange, then they should just accept that it is another scam coin they have invested in.

This would also be my first time of hearing about this project, and I am not so sure it is a popular project. If they are still on ICO, I will advise you also check with the bounty manager to see if you will get any response or explanation for their silence, but I doubt if the manager will also be able to help you out, I think he will also be in the same shoes as other investors and bounty hunters.

But how does one see these signs before it happens? Many trades went through and it seemed like it was developed to be easy, like some developer actually worked to create a decent product. Suddenly its gone.

The MCT+ (My Crypto Trade) Platform exit scammed on 02 July 2019.
The founders of the Platform Andreas Kaltenhuber ("Andrew") and his wife Carina Fontan ("Mari") stole users' funds from the Platform.

More info about it you can find here:
