My experience using MixTum was extremely easy and straightforward as a newbie to mixing/mixers/tumblers. The process was extremely simple, and I was able to send / receive my coins without any issues. I am not a regular user of mixers/tumblers and so am not very familiar with the level of service and user friendliness offered by other mixing services, however my experience here was great! Precise payment mode allows you to spcecify exactly where your BTC is going, all worked flawlessly for me!  Unfortunately my original transaction took many hours to confirm due to a low fee, but once it was confirmed, within 2 hours I was sent back my coins.

Here is my review.


The mixing process itself went smooth and without problems.

However, i still have some suggestions for improvement:

• Google Analytics: Please don't use it. That's absolutely horrible. Especially for a mixer where user want some kind of privacy.
  
  
• Maybe remove accidentally pasted extra spaces at the end of an address (Your site shows '... is not  valid BTC address') to prevent copy/paste inconveniences
  
  
• You got a misspelling diretly under 'precise payment mode': It is anonymously, not 'anonimously'.
  
  
• Personally, i don't like the fact that i have to trust 2 parties (you and [banned mixer]). Is there no way for you to build your own mixing service ?
  
  
• The data is not encrypted between the customer and you, but between the customer and cloudflare. Please use your own certificate. They are literally for free. That's a huge loss in privacy.
  
  
• You make 2 receiving addresses mandatory, but do allow the same address in both fields. -> Either allow using only one address or prohibit the use of 2 identical addresses.
  
  
• To receive 0.001 BTC, i need to send 0.0013 BTC. But at the bottom of the page, if i enter 0.0013 BTC into the 'You send'-field, i get 0.00109 shown in the 'You receive'-field. That's somewhat weird.
  
  
• Even after my transaction got 10 confirmations it still showed 'Awaiting confirmation'. Maybe change that to 'Transaction has X / Y confirmations'. How many confirmations do you require ? If the TX has enough confirmations, change that to 'Transaction confirmed, processing..' or similar.
  
  
• Wasn't i supposed to receive 2 transactions? I have entered the same address in both fields and received one transaction. If the concept is to receive 2 transactions, it should also happen if i provide the same address twice.
  My bad, missed the 2nd transaction.
  
  
• Don't use Google Analytics. Really, just don't.

Thanks for the given opportunity to test the brand new mixing MODE.
Overall experience was excellent and smooth.

Advantages:
It takes only 2 min to put the change and destination address because of the simple user interface.
The provided letter of guarantee can help the user to fix any mistake if he forgot which addresses are used during the crypto mix.
Time delay increases the mixing anonymity but no idea how the timing was decided, maybe it is randomly.
Receive amount calculator is a good idea and it adds more accuracy/precision.

Disadvantages:
Mixing fee is higher than average(4% - 5% + 0.00015 BTC), this mixing mode is unpopular still and I doubt new customers will prefer to use this mode due to the charged fees.

Indeed, [banned mixer] is built on [banned mixer] platform. This is a trustful service and neither [banned mixer] nor [banned mixer] have been ever suspected in scum activities.

If one wants to receive money after mixing only at one receiving address we recommend to use Mix My Coins mode. If only one address is entered the money will be forwarded to this address in two transactions.

We are sorry but sometimes the calculator may be inaccurate if tiny amounts are sent for mixing. We will try to resolve the issue  soon.
