It seems finally POS will happen next year to dear Ethereum. What is home miners planning to do?

I also heard Monero Tari project will have validator nodes and will pay out like how Dash pays out to masternode.  However this is a long term goal of 2 years plus. I am slightly confused if i need to hold xmr or hold Tari or both.

Anyways maybe i start slowly accumulating some xmr and keep an eye out on Tari

Do you mean halving day?
If that right, I think they (miners) are preparing for next year's halving day. all mining costs must be prepared for next year, working hard is the key. Good luck miners

been mining since 2017
already break even for all mining rigs
now i am just trying to accumulate as many coins as i can after covering electricity prices
if eth moves to pos and monero switches to cpu algo
most of my rigs will become obsolete
so i will sell them all for any price i get
but if any new pow coins come up with good profitability
i will keep mining

miners will simply switch to other coins and algorithms. I do not think that all tied to etherium. there are many more different mining coins
