I have some investments in Litecoin but I don't think that it will go to the moon because it doesn't have anything that excites its community. If there will be a huge update from the founder of Litecoin like a new feature or huge development then that could trigger a massive price pump but with the current situation of Litecoin, I would suggest to look for better altcoin to invest which have a bigger potential.

You need to buy at your own assumptions. Top 10 coins still far from it's last time high so purchasing and storing those assets are good for long term
investment, plan your portfolio and keep what you think will bring potential profits. The market volatility needs to be considered so don't quickly judge observe and select the right coin to add inside your wallet,.

Altcoins market doesn't look good this year no matter what Litecoin foundation does that did not make an impact on the price so far. Litecoin is a very good altcoin to invest in no doubt about that but the market doesn't favor altcoins this year. Litecoin has always been one of my favourite coins since it was one of the main once when crypto was still so new and has stood the test of time. It works very well and is cheap to send and many places are now accepting alts and not just bitcoin thanks to the help of payment processors such and copayments. Merchants themselves are also accepting them directly. It is perfect for lower value transaction where bitcoin is an option that is too costly for fees. LTC, doge and eth are where I am invested. They all can be used and spent and are accepting at many places and more and more each day.

Hey OP are you another litecoin fanboy just because you have LTC holding in your wallet? There is no clear indication from market showing that ltc will rise anytime soon. So it is entirely wrong to invest all your money in ltc at this time.

Already three months have gone but the condition of Litecoin is not getting any improved, I hope there will be light after the dark but the darkness is not finishing yet, Who knows what will happen in the future, In January 2018, I have bought some Litecoins but still I've not seen any positive result, I purchased Litecoin around 180$ at that period but the highest price after that was 109$, but I didn't sell it because I have a strong believe that Litecoin will enlighten me in the coming future that's why I keep these for the future purpose, Please let me show some hope which encourages me to stay calm and hold these Litecoins some more days

If you are not new to crypto, for sure you have already heard such assumption before. Litecoin is indeed one promising crypto and so do the other coins from different projects. My point is that, it would be risky relying on assumptions and expectations simply because of lack of assurance. I really hope so, because I like Litecoin pretty much. This is one of the first altcoins that was ever created and it is still alive. Furthermore, LTC is very oversold and is worth much more than 60 bucks.

Litecoin has lost a lot since December 2019 when it was over 375 USD for a token.  The market capitalization is not growing as it was predicted on the eve of its halving this year. I also think that Litecoin will go to the moon in the near future, even it's price is still low due to the bear market in 2018. LTC is one of the top altcoins in the market, that is why it is really worth it for a long-term investment. Anyways, i am also hoping that not only Litecoin will go to moon because other top altcoins lile Ethereum and XRP would go to the moon because i am also waiting for it's prices to increased in the near future.

in the end all coins will fly to the moon, as will Litecoin and other altcoin shit. when next altcoin season we will see all altcoin will return to ATH, but the question is how long do we have to wait?
after the fall of 2018, we don't have the chance to feel another altcoin season. many opportunities have been missed, but nothing has changed. Like yesterday's Litecoin halving, I thought it would make LTC go high, but look today. quite difficult indeed but it looks like we have to accept this reality.

If all altcoins still going to depend always on the rise of bitcoin for them to increase, then there is no point actually recommending any coin to anyone to invest in for profit, the only thing we just have to be after is to go to the market and choose between the top altcoins because when bitcoin shoots up in value, I have never see any top altcoin that does not increase along with it, the only difference is that the ratio of increase of some of some of them is quite different.
 
I am quite disappointed in all these altcoins that are relying on bitcoin because I thought that they can grow on their own because they all have their own real use case, but instead of growing on their own, what I am seeing is coins that re solely just depending one when bitcoin rise before they rise, so why not just invest purely on bitcoin alone then.
