XRP: What is the main aim right now?

I still believe strongly in the XRP use case. There have always been questions over circulating supply, and what proportion of the quantity (currently 43b) listed on CMC are actually truly circulating without selling restrictions (Jed etc). I'm not that concerned. It's an extremely strong project with one of the most solid use-cases in al of crypto. For me it's still a good long-term coin.

It is struggling to keep its head above the $0.30 mark right now and is falling below.

No one would really be able to assure you of that because those people that are forming predictions are just someone like you too, they are all in the dark and does not know if people are using ripple or not, you look at it, search the whole of internet and ask how many people are really using ripple for transactions, you will find very few people doing so, so how do you expect their value to shoot up that high when they have a product that is not perfectly functioning well.

If you have invested in ripple, then you can only wait for the time that altcoin season will start, and then you will get your answer then if ripple will be able to grow to that amount again or just remain stagnant this way forever, I will only advise that whatever investment you are into, ensure that bitcoin is always involved also.

Ripple is working with the IMF, Wold Bank, and Federal Reserve. This is why you see so much FUD, people are accumulating XRP and you should be too.

We thought the Moneygram deal was going to help boost the price but for some reason it has not added any value to XRP but the long term value to Ripple should not be underestimated even though the price of XRP has taken a hit.

The majority of of xrp holders will defend it until death. It must feel terrible knowing you invested alot of money into a crypto that is slowly dying. The reason I say this, is that almost every other big alt has increased since the start of the year. Xrp just keeps dropping,  stay clear of this shady coin folks!

You are right about those that purchased at all time highs, it is hard to see them getting their investment back. Any profit seems a long way off.

Maybe the usage at the moment in the fintech sector is simply not enough to rise the price but the shining light is the current 24 hour trade volumes of $1.2 billion. If that stays like that then the price might rise.

The situation of XRP is really  the same with Eth  which is It seems very stagnant but during the bull of bitcoin they always come up afterwards and that's the truth! . .

Ethereum is a great coin but it is no longer a saint too anymore because I am being disappointed about their own operation, they might have had real use case in the past but this is gradually dyeing downs, people are now Moving to other reliable chains like that of Binance, EOS and also Tron are beginning to gradually take over.

We all know about the " usage" of ETH. YEs statistically speaking, it has ton of usage- many many block chain built on it. But this is extremely shallow look. All this as you say huge usage is just becasue of the ICOs and tehy are dieing, like it or not. No-one in the end uses ETH besides making shitcoins on shitcoins and speculating on them.

XRP is a faster an cheaper way to send fund across borders, this alone makes it better than ETH . Sorry.

It is clear Ripple is being used in fintech and Moneygram will be implementing it in the very near future since the Ripple deal virtually assured it. XRP would be needed for low cost almost instantaneous transactions.

It seems Bitcoin as a base currency, Ethereum for contracts and XRP for banking does have a future for now. Just the single XRP price has been a let down.

Yes most altcoins are lottery tickets, sadly no way of being 100% sure which will succeed and which will fail or at which point investors should jump in then out before the price falls.

I would say Moneygram investment was a huge deal, an unexpected and unannounced partnership which should have yielded better results.

It maybe newbie have that basic understanding but not totally absurd it and don't have patience tends for them to sell it immediately.

I don't know what is the aim of Ripple Labs in the future because they don't want to tell their plans to the public. Let us let them work with their project so if they can work for better, and I think that could impact the ripple price too.

Besides that, I think ripple and the other coins still struggle in the unpredicted market, and all of the altcoins still trying to survive to increase the price.
