Hi Folks, I just wanted to chime in because I figured I'd have a few pics up by today, unfortunately I got held up on the road and have not had a chance yet. To my delight, it appears that there is a great deal of interest in these works. Has anyone seen any of the other large pieces offered anywhere besides from Troy's site where they were originally sold? I really loved the Dark Coin project before they went down the (IMHO wrong) road to me to become Dash....So that is why I went for the large print and paid a premium for print #1 (I bought the print just before the rebranding if I recall). Not to mention the art is (IMHO again) in opinion the best ever on any of the Cryptoart prints. That said, I do love ALL of Alexander Fedesov's work though, for sure. I think that Fedesov's Patriot and Nina Y's Protectionism are both penultimate "OG Cryptoart".
Sooo, I'm going to poke around on the forum rules to see what the auction rules are and how that works here.
I can say that my goal when I first considered selling this and a few other pieces was to wait for Troy to offer legitimate NFTs associated with the works. Troy mentioned this on his site or directly to me via email a few years ago or so. However, it seems like the NFT rollout is at least a slow train coming. He did mention Fake NFT's on the site...
https://cryptoart.com/beware-of-fake-cryptoart-nfts/ I would think that creating associated NFTs for the pieces would add value overall. Any thoughts?
It's been a while since I've heard from him so I might shoot him a message wrtt. Also, It would be great to see some new art come along (the last "new" piece was the Tinkerer), but I think his focus was on implementing the NFTs...
If you PMd me I will get back to you when I can, and I promise to post up the pics. I also would love feedback on my mat /frame choice, I spent a lot of time getting the mat color right to work with the green tones in the clouds of the background, and blacks and greys that dominate the piece to work with the the frame itself.
Thanks for your patience.
