I agree! Most investors and traders are not interested in ICO projects anymore. The reason is that there were a lot of scammed ICO in the past. I don't believe that we can see many ICO projects appear in the market because we all lost our trust in ICO. IEO can be better in some ways.

ICO was story in the past with its goodness and badness.many people be rich by their investment in ICO and many people too be poor man by investing in  ICO. today no more project held ICO  since distrust from investors be main problem. the last successfull in market was BCNEX but unfortunately its be scam project too. focus on IEO that launched on only reputable exchanges, it will give us smaller risk.

In IEO project you also do not arbitrarily choose, you must choose an IEO project is really listed on the top Exchange, on Binance, Kucoin or Huobi. Yes, I agree that now the ICO project is no longer trusted by Investors or Bounty Hunters, So I don't know why the OP says otherwise.

Now the era of IEO to develop, so it is very natural that IEO is much in demand by investors and prize hunters as well as traders as well, except IEO on a bad exchange is clearly not in demand, and for ICO the era is gone and no one is interested for now this.

This is an old post but I still wish to air my view. As of early 2019 ICO started dropping badly that is, the level at which people give attention to them dropped badly and the attention was channelled to IEO and ever since then IEO took over. Also, it even got to a point that most projects already preparing for ICO had to drop the idea and move over to IEO. Lastly, the era of ICOs are gone and a lot of lessons learnt too.

ICO has slowly declined 2 years ago and the reason behind it because there are many scam project, investors and bounty hunters too has losing trust on every ICO and this time i hope that scammers can be filtered to avoid such situation and ico will go lively again towards the goal of crypto to lead the cashless society.

2019 is also a failed year for ICO projects, and in 2020, I have not seen any signs that the ICO market is recovering. Now, only the big exchange IEOs like Binance, Okex, and Huobi can benefit us. In my opinion, people now need faster dominance, they tend to have IEO rather than ICO. You can see for yourself where campaign participants no longer want to waste their time anymore.

Whereas at that time the ICO had already begun to be forgotten and at that moment IEO had started to become an investment choice. Yes in some ways, IEO is not hundred percent good, there are still some flaws present, for IEO projects to be successful it has to go big exchanges and we know that not all new projects can afford big exchanges so that means they have no hope? The reason why ICO is better is even small projects can raise money easily

The complete opposite actually, ICOs are now declining in sales because of it's rating and the raise of IEO's popularity. ICOs has bad reviews because of the scams out there. So more and more people are not trusting it. So maybe after a few months or years. ICO will just be a thing in the past.

I think ICO have been forgotten because most of these projects are scams and it is difficult to attract large investment capital. However, there are some good projects for you, but it's really hard to find because those projects will often be sold very quickly in a short time. I think to reduce the most risk, you should only join IEO at high liquidity exchanges because those are the places that will help you earn huge profits if you are lucky.

this is an old thread. the situation at that time I thought there were indeed many new ICOs. but the success didn't happen very much. as for some who were successful with ICO, but they also experienced a rapid decline. we cannot see the potential of the project to last long term.

Yeah it was actually posted in 2019 where ICO projects are coming left and right without any purpose in helping or creating innovative projects that would help to create more opportunities and services for the community. But fortunately ICO has died because of themselves and the way they scam people investors who believed that they would be gweting something out of ICO projects.

But there are other ICOs that run smoothly. Check out the dyco of makerdao, called orion protocol. They have made 600% on their first day trading on bitmax and still increasing. I think it actually depends on the project and its host. Since this was hosted by makerdao, expect legit investors to hurry and participate with it. I think its started to revive the dead era of ICO, but this time the projects will launch are highly reviewed.
