Bitcoin cafe but didn't accept bitcoin as the payment and this is something new for me but as that cafe come from Bangladesh which is you said before bitcoin illegal in that country then it's obviously they will not dare to accept bitcoin as the payment because probably it's against the law however if your prime minister consider bitcoin is good and eventually legal i'm sure the bitcoin cafe will accept bitcoin

This is a creative way of using a big brand name to promote ones company. I guess it is illegal if done with registered companies.. Fortunately for the café owner, Bitcoin isn't owned by anyone... so he won't be getting sued by anyone .
If not for the hostility towards bitcoin by the authority, he would definitely be accepting Bitcoin as payment.

The same way its done in countries like mine under Hyperinflation: The prices changes all the time and has a limit, which could be a week, a day, or some hours. We live in the digital age, your menu could show price fluctuations of everything you sell in your shop all the time.

But some people are nice and are willing to keep their word longer, ie, that whole day no matter what.

Bitpay actually gives you just 15 minutes, that is a bit rude and extreme, but its a valid example.

I hope the cafe owner puts a big sign explaining he can't accept bitcoin payments until its legalized. Because this question is going to come non-stop.

For sure, the owner cannot be naming his business after Bitcoin if he will not accept it in the first place. But since Bangladesh has yet to be enlightened about the real deal of Bitcoin, his business will have to do with fiat for now. But it is always a breather to see business like this and people supporting Bitcoin in a country which does not consider Bitcoin legal. These are tiny little steps that for sure whisper to the government something in favor of legalizing Bitcoin.

In Bangladesh, people are not allowed to use bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Govt has declared it illegal. The great news is our current Finance Ministry is thinking over it and we will probably be seen Bitcoin legal in the coming years.
In Dhanmondi, there's a cafe namely "The Bitcoin Cafe". Although they don't accept bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, I see it as a great way of promotion, people will learn more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I have visited this cafe 2 times and asked to pay with Bitcoin but he wasn't agreed.

Photos are taken from google review.
The government of yours only prohibited people from using Bitcoin but not accumulate right?so meaning people there can have their bitcoin in wallets but cannot use it for now so I guess that the owner of that cafe is advertising Bitcoin for the others to know and realize the value of this and may be used soone.and also he was a fanatic of cryptocurrency so he is proud having this in that cafe in which I truly support and love,,I am planning to open my business as well so I might be using the concept and will accept bitcoin for payments and some other crypto as well

I think this is just Cryptocurrency, this is not only accepting or using bitcoin for payment instruments, but they are only inspired by cryptocurrency that makes the cafe themed Cryptocurrency, To attract many people in their country and tourists visiting Bangladesh, maybe that's what they mean ...

Yes bitcoin is not under the ownership of anyone but I rather not see this as a way to increase the publicity of the cafe rather it create awareness and support for bitcoin despite being small but it has a role to play

And I have a friend on the contrary practices payment in cryptocurrency, visiting such institutions. He has a record, 4 times managed to pay in bitcoins for a Cup of coffee and tea. I think such cryptocurrency acculturation is a huge step towards the future development of modern technologies.

If I someday decide to open a business it will be an Cafe like this!

And I believe that the owner only accepts btc from trusted costumers of their community for personal safety from government and criminals. Think of that...

I'm not sure about your country, but I think bitcoin in my country is not so popular that it can be used to make coffee payments, I think it will take some time for it to be more easily accessible to people.

Bitcoin cafe is a great opportunity to learn about digital currencies in an informal setting over a cup of coffee. I think that such projects must be in every country.
Perhaps in your cafe, you can not pay off the crypto because of some kind of inside prohibition, for example, the government prohibits it or the owner, but in any case, such cafes must be

I'd pay crypto to eat at a place like that, sure. A creative crypto-themed menu of dishes and side of hash?

This is interesting topic, first the owner of the cafe obviously was a bitcoin fanatic. I think He has something to give to anyone that Bitcoin in the future will become the world currency, so at the moment He might be giving an awareness to the people around him about it.

When a government accept cryptocurrencies then it doesn't mean they are allowing to use bitcoin as payment system. Most of the countries only use bitcoin as a comodity/property which can be traded and can be use them as investment place. Just a few countries who allowed the cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin be used as payment system such as Japan and I don't know for another countries.

This thing was made most of user more comfortable to use bitcoin as investment place only. And the one of the caused of that is the government themselves. However, I like for an idea was made by some user of crypto, they try to promote cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin in many ways and at least this thing will make most people aware of cryptocurrency.

It is possible for someone to pay for coffee using Bitcoin is quite an ordinary thing, but I am sure that such trifles should not be paid using Bitcoin until the cost of a transaction on the Bitcoin network is even cheaper.
