Be careful making picks on these matches...  The CL tends to be unpredictable during the first couple of matches.  Trust me, I know.  Lololol.

Agree with you here, I´ve been active sportsbetting for quite some time and the the golden rule (to me) in the end was "never ever bet on CL matches". Well, maybe that just goes for me since I can´t predict them good enough, but also thats the stage where the biggest teams in the world meet and thus the most data is collected by the bookmakers, so that one would possibly agree that it is not very likely to beat the bookie (on the long run), not saying one couldn´t be lucky on one day though.

Ajax have changed a lot. They are in this season without de Ligt and F. de Jong which played a crucial role and helped Ajax reach semfinal. Still I think they won't have a problem winning against Lille at home. Lille are performing bad at away games at the moment while Ajax are on a 4-win streak at home.

Not just you, buy myself as well, I watched the Lyon game, I actually did place a bet on them to win but too bad they could only come out with a draw, that sort of spoilt the night for me, as that was my first game running, I'll just watch the rest of the matches and enjoy the night then with s beer in hand.

I'll be following the Barcelona Vs Dortmund game, I think Barcelona would struggle in this game against the believe of many, the game looks destined to be a tight one in my opinion.

They also probably over-achieved slightly. Will probably be a good chance to lay the hype. They are already 1-0 ahead against Lille, which should make the price to Lay even better in next couple of group games.

man i wouldn't shoot my shots on Ajax this time. They have made some salient changes in the team (i mean the players- they sold some) nd hence I wouldn't say much about them. Maybe Liverpool can impress us ince again. I look up more to them. and moreover, "small" teams that make it huge in previous seasons mostly dissapoint in the incumbent season.

I just followed suit with your Liverpool/Barcelona parlay on live bet, I lost my initial bet due to Inter's draw against Slavia Prague.

With them reaching the semi-finals in last season's UEFA Champions League and only lost against Tottenham with away goals there is no doubt that they can defeat Lille in the Group Stage (They are currently 1-0 before even the end of the first half right now).  But the thing is will they even reach the semi-finals this current season? They have sold three key players to three competitions namely De Light, De Jong, and Dolberg all of which contributed tremendously on their Champions League run. They still have a good starting eleven but I know the departures would really hurt especially when they start facing off Chelsea and Valencia in the group so just by looking at the group stage you will see they already have a rough start in this season.

First day of any leagues or competition will always hard to predict. I prefer to not placing any bets for this first day matches on the group stage as I want to watch their performance first then I can make a better prediction for the 2nd day/round.
To be honest I predicted that Inter and Lyon will get an easy win but I was completely wrong. Luckily I did not place any bets as I'm not sure with my own predictions.

They probably can't recover for the match, the less serious one should be Pjanic's. They will soon do an MRI for both (flexor lesion).

Things don't look good for Costa unfortunately. He will now rest for 15 days before additional tests are carried out. The worst case scenario would be a 2 months injury break.

Pjanic on the other hand trained with the team today and will be available. Not sure if he will start though.

They could play with 4-4-2 and left Mandzukic and Ronaldo upfront and only use 1 overlapping full-back to prevent Atletico's counter.

The most interesting game which I would place my bets would be Dortmund-Barcelona today.
I am going to place a bet for Dortmund's win and also for an over @ 2,5 goals scored in the match.
It is going to be an attacking game and I think that Dortmund is a lot faster to get the victory today.

Napoli is one of the Italian teams that have a strong defense. That's very clear, so Liverpool's defeat now can make learning for Klopp and his friends in the future can overcome Naples related to defense. It's still early, LFC will rise again in the future.

First of all - Slavia continue to amaze Europe like last season, this time they played 1:1 with Inter. I think we shouldn't write off them even in group of death
For Barca goaless draw with Borussia isn't bad result, especially considering that ter Stegen saved penalty and few other lethal chances.
Lyon 1:1 Zenit - I think I understimated Zenit without reason, these teams seems to be similar level.
I'm surprised that Valencia won against Chelsea, especially knowin what's going on in their club. Well, this season will be very tough for Chelsea and I'm just sorry for Lampard.
Napoli 2:0 Liverpool - it was really great match to watch and Napoli achieved very important victory.
And Zalzburg - Gent, wow, so many goals scored, probably it was fun match.
