Damn, lost lot of money tonight :/

I think it'll be very difficult for one to get predictions correct, seeing how the games ended, and if tonights performances is anything to go with, I do not think we'll have a clear favorite for the title this season as I would not be writing off any of the fairly big teams.

We'll go again tomorrow, there are two big games coming up tomorrow, PSG vs Madrid is a must watch, this two sides are not actually in their best form, but a victory for any of them could breathe life into their season, I'll be tiping Madrid to win this one, though I'm yet to come up with my predictions for tomorrow's games, I need to recover from tonight's loss .

Napoli is one of the Italian teams that have a strong defense. That's very clear, so Liverpool's defeat now can make learning for Klopp and his friends in the future can overcome Naples related to defense. It's still early, LFC will rise again in the future.

There is one thing about Champion's League. It's very unpredictable even if the weaker team is playing at home. This is what happened to Liverpool tonight.
Honestly i don't think Liverpool will replicate last year's performance. Every team meeting them will be very well-prepared. It's only Madrid that tried to go against all those odds during the 3 consecutive trophy period of glory though at times you could see some matches needed pure luck and magic.

It started with a surprise yesterday with Internazionale Milano not being able to win against a team from a much weaker league than Serie A.They played not very well but the goalkeeper of Slavia Prague made at least 3 extraordinary saves and then Slavia took heart and played better than Internazionale.

I have Liver/Barca parlay at 5/1 and Lille upset at 7/1. About to place another maybe HMM! What do you guys think? Inter too overrated, as is Lyon, any hope for the other away underdogs maybe?

Inter draw , barcelona draw almost get their first lost if there's no ter stegen's strong hand ... even with messi subbed in things didn't change much.
And my team Chelsea lost to valencia with barkley penalty drama .... damn it was my nightmare , should i take a break a while for tonight matches?

The matches which promised lost of goals on paper last night, ended up disappointing, producing little or none.
That's the unpredictability of football.
Salzburg were the surprise package with 5 first half goals.

I was expecting lots of goals from the PSG - Madrid fixture, but I'm not so sure on that now, may just back the French side to grab all three points.

What we learn usually from group stage is the home team is so difficult to beat, but we also learn that the teams in the groups are very high quality. Nice to know ex spurs Llorente got a small bit of revenge;)

Commenting results but seen only a few games.

Napoli is now in a very good spot to passing the group stage, they won with the previous winner of the cup, even if they played at home and score with a doubtful goal they are now in a very strong position on their group.

Inter, they have a strong team but they were lucky yesterday's night, they scored the goal in extra time. Without that goal their position was dramatic. Now they can still start without any problem if they will win the next game. Barca tied too so they are all at 1 point, basically, nothing happened.
Well, Barca has one more game at home now and Inter less, a small advantage for Barca and Slavia Praga.

Chelsea lost at home, seen nothing about it but is Lampart will be sack soon? I mean he is doing not very well after Sarri at Chelsea.

Ajax even without DeJong and DeLight seems a solid team, is a shame that they needed to qualify to this champion after the elimination stage.

They need to change this champion league and look more at the rating for group stages.

This evening will play my Juventus (in a bad state) vs Atletico at their Wanda Metropolitano.
I will be happy with a draw.

Tonight most games looks difficult to predict. In Olympiacos - Spurs, Bayer - Lokomotiv and Brugge - Galatsaray  matches there is obvious favorites on paper, but I think that upsets is likely to happen there.
Atletico - Juve - I will go with Atleti win and I think we won't see lot of goals there.
While in PSG - Real game I expect many goals, but I'm not sure who have better chances.

Shakhtar v Man City...
First match, at home, against marquee oppostion, would expect Shakhtar to really push for goals. Also, Man City will want to get off to a strong start in the group. WIth ManCity's defence suffering from injuries as well, we would look to lay Under 2.5 on the exchanges, maybe under 3.5 and even 4.5 pre-match. And keep an eye on those markets In-play.

Some great games tonight, Tottenham also an interesting (small) lay at around 1.95 on Betfair?

I'm surprised that Valencia won against Chelsea, especially knowin what's going on in their club. Well, this season will be very tough for Chelsea and I'm just sorry for Lampard.

I thought that it would be an easy win for Chelsea last night especially due to the fact that they were playing at home.
Valencia got a win which may be proven crucial for the next state qualification.
I hope that Chelsea will make the come back later on the next matches of the season.

The bookies won big time yesterday. I mean, Slavia Prague getting a point from Italy, Valencia winning away, Barca vs Dortmund goaless, defending champions debuting with a 2-0 loss...Yeah, we lost our bets, but i can't deny that these sort of unexpected results are what makes the CL such an special competition.

Many people were expecting a lot of goals yesterday in the Dortmund vs Barcelona match and it was a disapointing 0-0. With PSG missing Cavani, Neymar, and Mbappe, game tonight might not be the goal fest some expect.

this makes UCL this season very interesting because the team that is considered weak shows that the strength of their team is not what the majority thinks.

Has anyone managed to calculate how much money could have been made if they bet on the right winners of last night? I mean I am pretty sure you would have a great odds at your hands and if you bet a decent amount you could have tested the max mounts of any sportsbook out there.

Of course it is the start of the season and the teams are still not at their %100 power so these kinds of stuff happens at the early parts of the season but usually it happens to each team like once, not at the same time, last night it happened to all of them at the same time, I would have expected inter, Barça, Liverpool all to win their games. Since the loss is out of the way I am %99 sure from now on I would be more relaxed on betting for Barça or Liverpool since they will recover and not lose again for a long while.
