Hi guys,

I am new to asic mining, therefore i would like to ask regarding my mining room here. I boarded up the miners and just let the exhaust in the hot room. There is two exhaust fan taking out the heat from my machines. Currently the room is running two 3 hp aircond however the heat is within the mining asic itself. I went into the miner webpage n see its running some at 100 celcius etc. Therefore i am quite puzzled with this setup why am i getting this problem. My room is not so hot btw.

According to the image your miners are very close to the wall you need to take the miner far a bit from the wall so that the hot air will not blowback to the miner.

Or place all miner to the open air or in front of the exhaust fan to take the hot air out from the room.

Just like this below.

Hi BitMaxz,

Yes, I've moved them to the wooden box, which I've specially made the hole for the just the exhaust fans...something like a hotroom. Though, it's quite weird that the temperature goes up to 100celcius..oh my

Are you moving enough air? They say its 200 cfm per each S9 (i guess twice that for the newer models). Those cfm are fresh air from outside, and the hot exhaust air that needs to go outside. The hot room should not feel very hot at all if you are sucking all that air quickly. Otherwise the hot air is finding its way back somehow. I don't know if this 3hp thing is enough for your setup, but probably isn't (air conditioning is a lost battle). You could use a tool to measure the cfm.

In short: Move that air, don't worry about cooling it down, just move it.
