i preferred Litecoin because it is getting more adopted than bitcoin cash.

I still prefer litecoin rather bitcoin because it has more usages compared with BCH. Even litecoin is acted as the experiment for bitcoin protocol and then that's good enough to be placed at the number four of CMC.
I believe litecoin still got its 4th place and BCH will below litecoin.

Ehh. I think both are really irrelevant. Litecoin just a tad bit more useful because of it being the sort of like Bitcoin lab rat. Litecoin's slogan "silver to bitcoins gold" never made sense to me at all. I think Bitcoin Cash will stay at the fourth place though, they have a decent sized community compared to Litecoin.

I think both have potential to reach 4th place, But right now litecoin is maintain the top region. So we are all expect it will stay in 4th place and BCH also have same potential to occupy the more marketcap again in crypto market. Because we are all see competition on ETH and XRP so many of them think LTC was hold the 4th position. Once Bitcoin growing well both the marketcap was raise gradually so anything will possible at future days.

Litecoin might be useful, for now. But after Bitcoin scales through 2nd layer solutions like the Lightning Network or another alternative in the future? What is Litecoin left for? Nothing. It just has a bit of popularity because Charlie Lee is friends with a lot of bitcoiners.

I personally don't like any forking coin, it proves that the developer only want to get quick popularity by forking the original coin

Litecoin was an early bitcoin clone and bitcoin cash is Bitcoin's most furious rival/imposter,due to all the misleading bullshit propaganda saying that BCH is the "real bitcoin" or that BCH is the "real vision of Satoshi".

Sooner or later bitcoin cash will be going down on the market cap values and at some poit it may fade away from it as well but the litecoin is considered as one of the best altcoin and will be used for small transaction is the future so this will have a place.

Classification of cryptos based on market capacity "price* Circulation supply" is a misleading indicator and does not mean anything. For example, if Binance Coin rated over BTC in the future, "this will happen". Does that mean anything? Definitely does not represent any standard. [Don’t forget fake volumes]

When the Lightning Network or another 2nd layer technology becomes adopted by most wallets and exchanges, there won't be any use-case left for litecoin.

Couldn't have said it better myself.  Maybe if there were a decent number of businesses that accepted either coin, I'd be more interested since I do buy some stuff with crypto.  The only places I know of that sell anything good for either LTC or BCH are precious metals merchants.  

What I do appreciate about both BCH and LTC is that their networks don't tend to get clogged up like bitcoin's does, and the fees are quite low.  That said, I don't use either of them and only own some BCH dust and zero LTC.

Agree with this as well.  People pay far too much attention to market cap, and that never made much sense to me in terms of importance.

When it comes to Community support even though i hate Bitcoincash but i do admit that it do have much bigger support than with Litecoin.They might be fighting for 4th place on the entire market but this isnt really an important thing to be argue about which neither of them would be on the place,i dont really care at all.

Eh. I think some stores just accept other cryptocurrencies for the "what if customer x prefers to pay with x altcoin" factor. And probably because BitPay accepts BCH anyway so why not.

I don't like BitcoinCash either, but the reason of it's existence makes more sense: a minority for due to a disagreement on how bitcoin should move forward. Litecoin? Forked because what? Initially just so we have a new coin in the cryptocurrency markets?

But you can never tell, the last time, BCH was on the top 2 list. And comparing these two, they have both competing not only on the rank but also with the popularity, with both highest market cap and  also fights along with electronic cash thing. I believe the rank depends on the transaction volume itself. How many people do patronize and use either litecoin and bch? That actually reflects the rank.

You do realize that bitcoin cash is used by mostly the owners (miners) and also the auto traders right? Litecoin is there because it is actually liked by the public and people really want to keep trading it or even have it on their portfolio, nobody buys bitcoin cash because they want to invest in it, they buy it so they can sell, it is auto traders that use bots to trade and use bitcoincash, the other big player is people like jihan wu and roger ver to actually make a difference and instead of selling and dropping the price they are just buying with the money they have to make it look like they are big, there is no end game in bitcoin cash, it will fail because it can't sustain couple of miners having 90% of all coins, eventually they have to sell it to make a difference.

  I think they both have been in a contest so far and nothing is changed. Bitcoincash and Litecoin both have good future and for that reason, Bitcoincash and Litecoin are demanded in the market which is visible from the statistics given on the coin market cap site. I think Bitcoincash is superior because its price is pretty above than what LTC stays which means that the demand for Bitcoincash is more than that for LTC.

That is actually true, I did not really take note of that, I can see through coinmarketcap that the total marketcap of Litecoin, is almost very close to that of bitcoincash, and if care is not taking by bitcoincash, Litecoin will really give it a very wide gap, now that we have few weeks to its halving, and I believe this having to have very big impact on its value positively.

Anyway, bitcoincash has always been manipulated and I don’t see any much use for it, I think it is currently occupying the wrong place, and the rightful place would be somewhere below 10th position, the coin that should have been the main occupant is Litecoin, and I know that with time, when things finally takes shape with Litecoin, it will occupy its space back, which is the third ranked coin.

i also have this in mind. i believed that litecoin have more future than bitcoin cash. the continue forking of bitcoin to produce bitcoin cash and the rest reduces the potential aspects of bitcoin cash. there is every possibility that we will see another fork taking place.
