The world has changed from the point of relegating women to the background to the point where the advantage of the society has been by default configured for any smart lady to take advantage of and we have seen many ladies breaking barriers in all areas. Although, its not total yet but in the near future, I believe they would be able to compete favorably. The influx of ladies into the crypto world or technology world is actually not different from what we have all over in our place of work, schools, social gatherings, political gatherings etc...

I follow couple girls/women`s on twitter that trade very active, some of them play poker for crypto too. There will be more of them to join, they just need someone to show them how to do something, and of course to give them some starting capital, that last is a joke, today girls have their own money, or ways to earn it.
Maybe they are waiting for some coin made entirely by women team, that would be interesting to see. I would invest in that kind of project, run completely by girls.

Nowadays women are not like the old days who are contented to do the chores at home.

We are more open for opportunities to earn. Thats why I decided to engage myself in crypto few years ago.

In my country constantly they do lectures on topics such as "gender equality" and do you know the ridiculous bad part of the lectures?

The men who take part in the lectures of my country are government people (high government employees) who have many women. Women should strive harder to learn technology, pay more attention to technology, and demand that men respect them. if they agree to marry a man who has several women, then they are definitely lost.

I attend a lot of Bitcoin meetups and Crypto currency conferences and I can tell you that there are a lot of women involved in Crypto currencies. They might not brag about it or be very vocal about it like most men in social media, but there are a lot of them.

In conversations I had with some women, they shared with me some of the reasons why they do not attend some of these meetups, namely :

1. A lot of these meetups are held in local pubs and drunk guys try to hit on them.
2. They have nobody to babysit their kids.
3. Testosterone filled rooms with lots of men, push women away from aggressive confrontations about Crypto currencies. <Men like to dominate conversations>    

Attend to some of these issues and more women will join your groups and your local meetups. <Solution : Host the meetups in Coffee shops or quite restaurants or have women only events.>

No one forbids women to buy or to trade with cryptocurrency, it is just their choice. Why this is mainly man area so far, can only be the subject of the research, but no one should be forced to do something if he / she is not interested in it. Implying that women are not smart enough to understand cryptocurrency is underestimation of womans, they are or they can be excellent traders, but probably they should use some more trusted platforms.

For start that crypto exchange you promote should have more then 25% of womens in team, if we want equality we should show it on its own example.

That is more about less involvement in the financial world by women than just crypto, look at the stock market or forex or any other financial market and their employees and you will see that men are more greedy and after money hence why they pick these kinds of jobs than women.

Women tend to pick stuff that make the world a better place, men tends to pick stuff that will make their own world a better place, these are all observable stuff on college applications as well.

Making money via money is a man thing and the numbers are usually between 75% and 90% in financial employment between men and women so it is not even close (same could be said about software engineering as well btw). So, with some time you will realize that crypto is just one part of that deal and not something individually different.

The reality of the fact is that people want to hire people they know and they hang around with, now I have seen plenty of man become friends with their colleagues and they go out together become friends in real life and continue their relationship even after they stop working in the same place.

However, same doesn't happen with women, they tend to rival each other and want to undermine each other and no matter how much sexist it sounds that is the reality if you ask to any woman you know about the other women they work with. So, of course in work places that are heavily dominated by men they tend to hire men compared to women, and in finance that is the case, people want to talk and discuss it with like minded people instead of women and that creates the difference.

I think the op made the wrong choice of word to have used slow for them, the fact that they picked little or no interest does not mean that they are slow in learning, if we check this forum, we can also see that there is little participation of women in the forum, but if you eventually get a lady to comment, you will get a very intelligent response and the most constructive post from them.

I think that cryptocurrency does not really have what it takes to attract women to itself, if it was for making payment, I am sure many of them would have probably been using it to make payment for one or two of their personal needs, but for now, the crypto market has been turned to an investment market which many of them would not want to take such risk.

They are now part of the financial society which is originally for men on the past era. They are even greater than men now given the fact that there are successful women financially existing now. Women were all used to be just housewives once, who are now equally responsible decision makers of all the major decisions being taken in their families. They do almost everything from cooking to gymming to sports - just like men do, while giving no excuses and doing their job very smoothly. All of us have diversity of learning. Though we can say that the dominance in trading is in the part of the male, we could not say that all of females are not competent in this field. There are many telegram admins that I talk who are traders. We can't deny the fact that hormones does not affect the individual learning since nurture or environment affects tremendously than heredity. It's not that women are not interested in crypto, it just happened that the initial "core" users of bitcoins were what we would call "nerds" that more often than not males (think of the Zucc or Gates). It's only normal that as it become mainstream, you'd see a more varied class of users as people of various sectors hear of it. Bitcoins and cryptos are simply money, you can use it whether you have a penis or not.

Can't do anything about men hitting up on women but yes, having a more "neutral" venue (preferably without alcohol) helps. In my country most of these meetups happen in convention centers or if not in fastfood chains (they reserve a portion of the restaurant) or in malls.

If you're a trader, gender is not being taken seriously since everyone can do that simple thing. But simply having a debate with a man is very unusual that's why they keep their distance and doing some trading without us knowing. If a human is interested in the knowledge then let them be even if its a man or a woman, when it comes to learning in cryptocurrency, there's no gender.

On the other hand, gender equality might still not effective to some other people since society doesn't know to become fair for women because of the old norms that they believe in makes it harder for some other women to live up their life the way they want it. This simply proves that man is superior to women in most times, they just couldn't beat man's superiority in thinking somehow, I guess there are few but not quite the amount.
They somehow good at secretarial jobs rather than pure technical skills, there more male inventors and contributors to development and advancement of the  world, they are somehow good in household chores. There are times the are weak mentally and physically mostly like in their menstrual cycles, they could do unpredictable and regretful decisions, put in in trading then you  could lose all your money in an instant.

True, most of the woman I've met in my environment are competent. They are very competitive in what they are doing which proved that they can handle almost everything that a man can do nowadays. I am not sure that the op is generalizing the claim, I think he is talking specifically about cryptocurrency because when it comes to hard work, competency and knowledge, women too are very great in this, women are even the one that go to any length to make something successfully and if you see where a man cannot enter or get attention, women will get there and gain the attention.

It is only in cryptocurrency that I have truly not really seen their involvement, but I guess it is not yet time for them to be useful, if crypto can be legalized and regulated, I am sure that women will be very useful in this regard to really create awareness because they have lots of connection to do so. Look at Facebook platform, where a man is having 500 friends, woman already have their complete 5000 friends.
