I heard a news that they change the minimum deposit but 100K is just too huge, an average filipino won't be able to afford that.
They are not helping the poor to do banking but that's them, there still a lot of banks with low minimum, like the Rural banks.

I like them being the first bank to adopt with crypto fully, a stable coin would really help us to transact faster and I hope they will have a lot of partnership where we can spend our stable coin or we can also buy their stable coin so we can do away with the low exchange rate of coins.ph

Anytime pwede magprint parang USDT which is very centralized.
That is good for the cryptocurrency because if the Union Bank wants to be lean in the industry of the crypto so theg decided to launch stable coin.  The other bank must follow for sure I think better for us to open bank account in that bank because we need to support them because they support us too.

It's a good sign that cryptocurrency is not yet dying despite of the fact that its value has deeply fell down for the past months. Furthermore, Unionbank management has greatly seen a big potential of investing that strengthened the growing community of cryptocurrency in the Philippines.

I haven't had any news regards with the minimum account of the Unionbank Savings account but I checked with their website now and it seems like you are right. The minimum now (As of July 15, 2019) is Php 10000. Not bad, maybe because they want more people to use their banking application and utilities. I don't know. Lol.

Nag Screenshot ako on their website. I just hovered on Personal>Accounts>Regular Savings Account
