Hi everyone!

I present a playful service with cryptocurrency called Digital Wishing Well. It is the famous well or water fountain, where people usually drop coins in order to make their wishes come true.
Brief history:
Cultures all over the world, for some reason, have always done some self-denial for a wish or auspicious things to happen in their lives. The well of desires is one more of these. By throwing a coin (an object always denser than water) in the well or fountain, some attempt was made to forfeit the reuse of it as an offering, in the act of an expenditure without return, then a one-way expenditure, which in some way such a sacrifice would be worth the accomplishment of what is so longed for.

Which is:
Thinking about this purpose. Correlating the unidirectionality of the real well, with unspendable addresses, also known as eater address. Addresses that are impossible to redeem the coins that are there. Such addresses are used in the Proof of Burn (PoB) process, and can be used in crypto-coins such as bitcoin.

The advantage of a digital well that uses impregnable addresses is the security of the unidirectionality of sending the coins, as well as their transparency and practicality.

The unspendable address type is Bitcoin Core legacy (P2PKH), which therefore also serves for currencies such as Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV), Syscoin (SYS) and Omni Tether (USDT). Perhaps many other coins and tokens, which have not yet been inspected, will also serve. This is an extremely common address among most cryptomaniacs.

How it works:
To use the service is very simple. Just focus and place the order, and then send the cryptomoeda to the address present in the Qr code attached to the image of the well.

Just as in the tradition of the real well, where there is the difficulty of hitting the coin with closed eyes. In the digital well, the address was removed in text, and only the image with a certain scrolling movement was placed to make the scan difficult. In an attempt to keep some of the challenge shrouded in tradition.

In this way the service presents a playful form, for those who are users of criptomoedas to be able to enjoy one more service for the referred public. The service is free, and because of that, it also uses a free hosting. The service is on the web site:

                                   https://criptowishing.wixsite.com/well

To make the domain of the site more accessible you can also use the links below:
bit .ly / pocodosdesejos
tinyurl. com / cryptowishingwell
tinyurl. with / few wishes
tinyurl. with / digitalwishing

Finally, it is worth emphasizing that if by chance the wish is fulfilled, and only when the desire is fulfilled, that a donation can be made to the service in this link for donation, where all the donation will be used in the purchase of food for a family needy in Brazil.

For any questions, you can post in the comments.

Thank you!
May your dreams come true!

Congratulations, you just played yourself. What it looks like to me is just did a reverse faucet for the users, which is more like a passive income for you. You should be ashamed of yourself trying to fool people that your wishing well program serves a purpose but the truth is you are just serving yourself with the money they'll give to your digital wishing well. Just don't try to fool people with your fake service, I have to admit its funny at first but I can see the scam right in front of it.

Well, other from the fact that he asks for donations to help people (which we can’t know it’s true, but there this is no reason to assume he’ll just keep them), the address looks like a burn address which he most likely don’t have access to it (just like the BitcoinEater address). So why all the hate?

This is hilarious. I can't believe someone actually created an online crypto wishing well and the best part is how bad the site looks. It's obviously made in a website builder, with a free plan, with free hosting and with a free domain. OP couldn't even integrate/add the bitcoin addresses on his site, so he made a google document that is linked from the website. Crazy ways about how people try to get free money, and the worst part, he is trying to convince people that the money sent there will go to a good cause.

Well, other from the fact that he asks for donations to help people (which we can’t know it’s true, but there this is no reason to assume he’ll just keep them), the address looks like a burn address which he most likely don’t have access to it (just like the BitcoinEater address). So why all the hate?
How do you know it's a burn address? Just seems like a regular one to me? And he's promising it to go to good causes when it isn't..?

"1PocoDosDesejosWishingWeLL76f5YUz"

Either he managed to make a vanity gen with 25 case-sensitive addresses (only 1 char less than Bitcoin's Eater address!!) or this is a burn address, so it sounds pretty obvious for me.

And he's promising it to go to good causes when it isn't..?
Why do you assume he isn't? Like I said, there is no way for us to know if he's really going to donate it or just keep it. Yes, this is the internet so it is most likely the second option, but we can't assume this. All we can do is not trust him (for obvious reasons) and then don't donate to him.

Where is that address found? I followed the website link and found this for donations

After clicking the "clicking here" button, I was directed to this document , which has these following addresses.

Bitcoin Address: 3BBy4Bwak9jmVeTGDhCWwB6QV5miih7iPw
BCH Address : qq4lyf7kjer7gpknszvhx5jnkctjuf3q855kew2pt7

There are a bunch other donation addresses for ETH, USDT, but I'm not going to post it all here.

If that is the address then, it's very well hidden. I did a search for the address on his previous posts and his website and came up with nothing. It's always better to be safe than sorry as well, so I'd assume he is looking to scam.

It's the QR code at the top of the page (right where is the well). That's the whole point of his website (other than the donation stuff) - scan and "use" the whell.

The addresses you linked above are for the donation thing, so obviously it can't be a burn address, otherwise he wouldn't be able to donate/scam anyone.

the picture of the well on top of the website alongside the QR code that contains the "wishing" address doesn't always load. that is the problem with using free website builders, they are poorly coded and the hosting is not always responsive.
initially i was confused about this too so i had to refresh the site a couple of times to figure it out!

There is a FOMO brewing...

You're right, but that was the point. Because this makes it difficult in some way to view the QR code. I appreciate the considerations.

I appreciate the comment, and it seems to me that there was a great deal of confusion between the donation address and the well address. So I remove the need for donations to the site, so that this does not happen anymore. Thank you for your criticism!

Oh, okay. After refreshing the site a couple of times, I was finally able to see the graphic and the addresses connected to it. I should have done a bit more research before commenting on the site's flaws. I'd recommend putting a small amount of money in it if you have it - a little bit of development and the removal of the "this was built with the free website builder - wix" would help legitimize the site a lot more.

I appreciate the comment, and it seems to me that there was a great deal of confusion between the donation address and the well address. So I remove the need for donations to the site, so that this does not happen anymore. Thank you for your criticism!
I don't think you needed to remove the donation section, but make it more clear, and also add an address to the QR code so it's more obvious? If you really do have a burner address, I think donations are fine.

Can you also answer the question that's being asked - Is it a burn address? I'm referring to the "1PocoDosDesejosWishingWeLL76f5YUz" address here, of course.

There is a 0% chance this isn't a burn address, and I already explained that...
