sorry to disappoint you but you can not predict the altcoin pumping season with technical analysis. it has the name "pump" in it which indicates the manipulation that leads to these pumps and the rising season we have in altcoins. and that then indicates the unpredictability of this whole thing.

additionally what you are using here is market cap and the only reason why it went up last time was because of the dozens of ICO tokens that were being created every week with hundreds in a month that caused a fake bubble in the total market capitalization of the altcoin market and brought it up to unrealistic prices.
now the ICOs are dead and people can't create as much as 2017 anymore so no matter what happens you can not reach the same bloated total market cap as 2017. in other words you are looking at something that will never be repeated let alone be an indication of when the next pump is going to begin.

It didn't went up just the last time. It went up 4x times based on this chart. No one said it must go to the uper trendline. I also didn't say it must happen this time too. Follow this area and act accordingly.

that's a great chart and where it could lead is hard to tell at this moment due to certain factors that have entered the market, which were not there before. It would be great if this happens and we're close to altcoin season which I think we probably are than we were before.

I think, it is possible that we are going to see a bounce back from here. In January 2018, Bitcoin did bounce back near this level to 11000 USDT. But after that just fall lower. But at this time, its value was higher. But i don't think that this time it will go back like in 2017. I don't really know if it will become altcoins season, but we should watch carefully what is going to happen.

The charts can allow investors to find comfort with the assets that they're still holding, accumulation periods for risk takers it can be done by doing good research and observing how the market is bouncing you'll get a good ideas while monitoring and trying to figured everything.

yes, this activity is very time consuming. I have never looked at the market very seriously. I only make an alarm for all the assets that I have, and I will be prepared to see the market when the alarm I make sounds.

I am still a bit skeptical in general about TA in crypto, and particularly for altcoins. It does have an effect, but the thing I'm not sure about is how much of this is self-fulfilling - if enough people believe that TA signals are correct, and then they sell/buy accordingly, then the TA itself becomes the reason for the price change.

You're welcome! In my opinion we are at the important area where it could bounce. Ltc/btc already broke up from the downtrend channel. Many coins are out of the down trend (in satoshies) and they are currently testing the uper downtrend channel line. So this can be a decision time so watch it closely and react accordingly!

Altcoin Season Depends On This

This Chart shows you where and when could altcoin season start. We can clearly see the trending channel here. Between the green channel  lines. So this shows you the altcoin marketcap dominance. At this moment it's near the green trend line where it could potentialy bounce to the upside. Based on the long trend it's very likely that we see a bounce to the upside at the green trendline line area. (currently between 33.44 and 31.25 Altcoin Dominance. Right now it's 34.99 % Altcoin Dominance. This number could be slightly different from the coinmarketcap dominance so you should watch this chart for a potential bounce to the upside. (Altcoin Season).

I would like to say that it's still too early to tell if altcoins will bounce at this trendline or not. We will see that when it gets there, how it's gonna react. It's possible that it doesn't bounce and goes further to the downside. Just watch this important lines and react accordingly.

Maybe it looks like i draw this to happen very soon but if you look at this longterm yearly chart, it can take
quite some time before it happens. But my goal here is not to try to predict the date. When (if) it bounces from the trendline and 3 indicators show you to buy some coin, then you can react accordingly.

When it comes to altcoin predictions I don't believe in the chart to provide the genuine forecast of the market price or trend it poses cause the altcoin market is highly manipulated and a whale dump could change the status of the game. Therefore, I believe the decision make by a group of arbitrage traders is what will determine the altcoin market movement.
My advice to investors is to go for altcoin with good support, volume etc.

Nice idea to combine the altcoin market/dominance with the charts but it doesn't show the real situation in this graphics. After the decreasing Bitcoin market domination, altcoin can start to go higher levels but it will not happen soon as you pointed on the chart.

all we have to see is the growth of bitcoin first if it is like that. if bitcoin has returned the price back, we must be prepared to set up an altcoin that will soon follow it even though that doesn't necessarily happen. at least when bitcoin pumps then the altcoin will also move up even though sometimes it also moves slowly.

it's not even 100% correct and i have a different opinion about that, let's take a look at the main problem that created the dump for bitcoin and it's more to the fundamental attack. That plays even more than the technical chart. sometimes technical is important but it's not so important as fundamental analysis.

The charts give us a possibility of what will happening later, and it is our jobs to analyze deeply to find if that will really happen or not so we can find the solution to solve the situations. Maybe it will not happen, or it will happen, and if we are ready for the worst thing that might happen, we will get a way to get out of the bad situations.

We have a different think about it, seems like the alt season won't come for this year. The price altcoin tend to move down, although as we have been know the giant social media facebook has been coming and the whitepaper has been reading by a lot of people but I can't see the drastically increase prices from some altcoin. The libra coin will be include to altcoins, this thing should be used by many investors to buy altcoins but they prefer to buy bitcoin. So it will take a long time to see altcoin season maybe at 2020 or 2021.

If you look at the chart, it still didn't reach the bottom. But it did reach the first level of the trend area. So your statement is possible.
