Yep, I'm sure there will be big movement of the price in eth because of eth 2.0. By the end of 2020 maybe it will reach around $1000-$1500 I guess. Well hopefully alt season will come in the year 2020.
Can you explain that you will reach this point using data or analysis? I am unsettled by the statements of many people without any basis regarding the prediction of ethereum from 2018 when the downtrend has occurred they believe this year will happen bullish |

Ethereum has already shown with all the price lows that were on the main cryptocurrencies that it does not just take second place in capitalization. I think the price we are seeing now is the price, which many will miss in the future, because the Vitalik Buterin's coin should rise in price due to upcoming updates. Ethereum 2.0 and halving, as well as the reputation of the project team will attract large investments in the coin in the near future. The price at the end of 2020 could be a record for this coin, most likely above 2000 dollars.

As long as the update is released as they planned, in 2020 ETH price will definitely go up because of the demand caused by transitioning to PoS creating a chance for the holders to generate a new coin and the scalability issue that will be fixed by an update from the team. Based on their update, the token holders will get a benefit too in this update because of the scaling issue that will be addressed by this update making the token transaction near-instant and allows code to execute faster than others. |

i dont know exatly what price, but i am sure that it will be higher than now
between 500 to 1000 maybe

The price $1000 is very possible to happen at the end of 2020, even I personally believe will be able to exceed the price of $1000. After they released Ethereum 2.0 then I feel optimistic that ETH prices will go to the moon. So it's not wrong if you buy ETH now, then hold it for a long term investment. It is a good decision for anyone to buy Ethereum at its current price, the best time would have actually been recently that bitcoin price was forced down which also forced majority of these coins to also go so low, but already recovering as bitcoin is recovering. There is every possibility that the new Ethereum 2.0 is the one that will bring the ICO back to life again, and new investors that will get to know of Ethereum in 2020 will seriously put money into the market then, and I think that is why there are some people here that strongly believe that this year is not the year of altcoins, not because we are getting to the end of the year, but because of these projects that has lined up for the year 2020, so I also believe that 2020 is the main year for lots of bull run. |

We hope that ETH revolution which is ethereum 2.0 will bring something good.
But in my opinion , everything that adopt a new system must be experienced many bugs that will be a bad side for the system.
Hope they will fix those bugs soon if it exist and ethereum become stable and be the best cryptocurrency

Well, I think the good news is coming to Ethereum in 2020 as well - which is the market recovery.
As we witness the bitcoin price recovery in this year 2019 maybe we will see the Ethereum price recovery too in 2020.

its been a long time that i never see eth rising so my prediction for eth is still going to be the same .
i mean if what is the eth value right now , i think it will end that way but if ever got lucky , it can increase a little bit more ( only small percentage ) other than this , i have a high expectation on other coins especially the volatile ones such as btc

1000-1500$ even without event in 2018 January Ethereum reached almost $1,500 so what more this 2020 when theres a big event that was expected to give a great growth for this number 2 ranked currency? for me its either 2000-2500$ depending on what Bitcoin price is because if Bitcoin bullrun goes togheter with that eth2.0 event?im sure the blast will happen to push not only ethereum but all of alts as well |

I dont relly belive in ETH and i think that it will by replaced by another technology in the next 2 years.
no one can predict with certainty the development of any of those crypto currencies and if your opinion is like that you certainly have a very strong reason in my opinion as long as there are those who hold ETH or other coins for sure the currency is not lost, everything is possible just happened in investments with crypto currencies |

I really hope that in the near future Ethereum will stop responding to Bitcoin pricing. Nice speculation, 500$ to 1k$ by end of 2020 is ideal, looking forward to the ETH 2.0 launch and also Bitcoin halving. Here is my prediction basis, since the news around ETH is cool, (many will want to enjoy the staking benefits since ETH will switch to POS algorithm), if BTC pump due to halving doesn't affect the satoshi value of ETH much ( forgive me if I didn't use GWEI, it's for clarity), then we expect a good rise for ETH, hence 3x to 5x is feasible. Just my own prediction, it's never certain. |

Those prices are only possible if the rest of the market is in an altcoin season, and 2020 does not seem like it is going to be as good of a year as everyone is expecting it to be, when I think of the market in this way the best price for ethereum at the end of 2020 seems to be in the range of 400 and 600 dollars which is not bad, that signifies a profit of 100% to 200% in a single year which is not something you can get in any market except this one. |

Ill think thats only your prediction about etherium be on $1000-$1500 its because this coming ETH 2.0 ? But we cant assure yet if this gonna be happen about etherium. We are different prediction maybe in yours can true or not, But i am sure if the bitcoin rise more the price and will this etherium also followed by not only etherium some altcoins also be going they same. By the way i'm just always seen also in here about this coming ETH 2.0 will be going to start a high price for ETH. |

$500 gets reached much easier. The market price of ethereum travels along with the increasing price of bitcoin. Right now there is no big growth happening, for the year 2020 there is halving of bitcoin and ethereum has a special occasion of transition. This will surely make some changes in its market. Considering this, I expect the price of ethereum to be higher than $1000 by the year 2020. |
