VOTE HERE PLEASE: https://linkto.run/p/3TWCU4X1

Backstory: I've bought 8 Bitcoins in March, 2015 for 230 Euros each BTC and totally ignored it since last week. I was just not interested in Crypto so far. A couple of days ago I decided to invest a total of 212k USD in Crypto. Things changed a lot since 2015, I'm completly overwhelmed by the amount of crypto currencies.

I could do weeks and months of research now, or do this experiment which I'll call "Project: 212k USD Swarm Intelligence Crypto Currency Investment". This could be a fun ride for all of us.

I'm not a day trader, and I dont want to become one. I'm invested in the stock market, bought 6 years ago and never sold. I like value investments, patience and profit in the long run. It worked for BTC so far. With your help I want to invest more and diversify to a maximum total of 10 7 crypto currencies.

Some easy conditions:

1) Everything we buy will be kept at least until Dec 31, 2019.
2) I'll keep at least 30% of my Bitcoins.
3) Only Top 50 Crypto Assets by Market Cap.
4) Vote ends on August 5, 2019.
5) If we spot good opportunities before Aug 5, we can buy coins worth 5k USD daily.
5) I wont cry if I lose all the money, but would prefer if we double it by the end of the year.
6) Voting only here, to make it easier to keep track of the results: https://linkto.run/p/3TWCU4X1

Here is a screenshot of my crypto currencies as proof, the major share is on a Exchange*, my Atomic Wallet and Monero Wallet. I'm waiting for a bank transfer to my Bitstamp account worth of 100k Euro to come through. This will give us around 212665 USD to invest. If you guys need more proof, let me know. This is serious.

*Why are my BTC on a Exchange? I was not able to verify my account properly, so they put a 5k withdrawal limit on the account. This sucks, but was actually the reason why I've never sold my BTC. So it was lucky in the end. Until Aug 5, 2019 I'll have all BTC moved to my wallet.

Thanks everyone for joining this venture. Your votes are highly appreciated.

Edit: It would be nice if someone could recommend a nice web portfolio where I can enter the transactions for everyone to follow.

Edit 2: I'm highly confused, guys. The majority of people tells me not to invest in crypto, in a forum about crypto investments. What's going on?

Maybe there is a misunderstanding. The 212k I'm about to invest do not represent 100% of my assets, they're more like 8% of my total assets. I own a 2 hectare (4,8 acre) property with buildings and infrastructure, value investments stocks from big US companies, 8% gold and the rest (40%) is liquid. I've invested 8% in gold already, and I was planning to invest 8% in crypto. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with asking users who deal with crypto daily and do a lot of research about their favorite coins, too. I'm planning to buy coins based on value (tech, usability, privacy, safety...) and prices are going down currently, it could be the perfect time to buy some.

I do understand that crypto currencies are highly volatile, don't follow rules of the stock market. I also believe if you make the right choice in technology and ignore market movements for a while, that there is a chance to succeed. Long story short, I'm willing to loose 8% of my assets.

I'd be happy if more people decided to vote. Collective intelligence is a beatiful thing. 1000-2000 Votes would be great.

Wow, with that shit load of monry you can invest in real estate and make the investment double in a few years if the you invest in the right location.
Anyway, since we are talking about Cryptocurrencies here I would accept that keeping 30% of the investment in BTC is definitely the right choice. You can diversify the rest amount in coins like ETH, EOS, ADA, Tron , Monero, EDO etc.. These are some potential coins with good developers in their team. All the best for the future trades.

Thats good advice, too. I'm done with real estate though. Invested in a big property two years ago and developing it currently with buildings, fruit trees and forest.

Thanks for your advice on coins. Did you vote on that website, too?  https://linkto.run/p/3TWCU4X1

That is good advice in general. But loosing all is an accepted outcome for me with every investment. I'll do more research of course before buying suggested coins. I'm just trigger happy at the moment.

You are already rich mate, i will suggest you to keep atleast 70 percent of your money in btc and eth because i personally feel confident about them then you can stay 20 percent in coins like xrp, ada, neo, eos etc while with 10 percent you can get good new promising projects like pundix, Utrust, power ledger, atlant, crypterium etc.

It is unimaginable honestly. With such huge money, you should prepare yourself for your investment. Asking for others ' opinion to invest is never the right way to do. Doing this might help you get money fastly, but it might also bring huge losses to you. Both profits, and losses, you will don't know why you get them, at all.

Interesting experiment. There was a buy and hold experiment for 365 days done on reddit a while back which you might find useful. Only 3 cryptocurrencies did better than BTC over the 365 days. Here's the link - https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoMarkets/comments/994kxu/buy_and_hold_31_cryptocurrencies_for_365_days/
That is great! I didnt know about it. Let's make our own experiment then and see if we can do better by selecting only 10 coins.

I agree. I won't buy stuff blind in the end, double check everything before buying. Losses are an accepted outcome in this. Thanks for worrying though.

For now, I think you should focus on a few coins on your portfolio and focus even more in Bitcoin because we are in a bull trend and it is coming in a pump where we can not know yet if what ATH it can reach, Maybe we are in a new parabolic phase so if that's the case we can enter an All-time high that no other and that it is not been reached before.

Well a guide with each Altcoin if you already make an investment with Bitcoin I think to make is a large percentage with the main Coin on the Top and that is Bitcoin

50% on BTC
20% on ETH
10% on Binance
10% on Cardano
10% on Monero

I should say this is the only portfolio I am trusting and all in all makes a 100% on your list, this is the coin that I think can make a big pump,
So good luck and it is still your own decision to make,  So make it worthwhile.

Here are some of the assets I chose in my time (top 50): EOS, Cardano, Chainlink, NEM, IOTA, Pundi X ... and, of course 50% of portfolio, BTC, ETH.

You start an interesting game with crypto market. Apparently, +200K$ doesn't mean that much to you. With luck, you can earn 1,000,000 by 2021.(It is better to reserve the investment time until 2021, since it is expected that this will be the maximum of the next 4-year crypto market cycle.) But another, much less pleasant outcome is more likely. In a casino with the same result, you could spend your time more fun. Grin

I agree with that strategy. And thanks for your honesty. Still curious about your recommendations.

Yeah, let's call it 7 maximum. That was my limit with companies in the stock market always. The lucky number 7. I dont mind getting more Bitcoin at this point. I like your portfolio, thanks for sharing.

What I dont get about Binance.. They're fairly new. Founded in 2017. Whats their story in a nutshell? Why are people trusting them so much, how did they become popular so quick and why is Binance a good coin?

Yes, it's time to invest when inexpensive. Perhaps now is one of the best times for investing. And hold it until 2021. I meant it.

I was joking about the casino - there is a one-way street. Wink

The biggest achievement of Binance is the use of IEO for new successful projects. Against the background of good development, with the support of the holders of the BNB and the upping market, they found a good time to organize IEO such projects as BitTorrent, Harmony. This made Binance popular.
I think that you, as an experienced investor, understand that you have to be very careful with investments in boom projects.

i wouldn't invest in anything if i were you, and instead i would put that money in a bank account (hold the fiat instead) because if i am so unfamiliar with a market that i had to ask random people on the internet for random suggestions aka investment advice then i would prefer holding the money i have instead of throwing it away in a gambling manner.
not to mention that i believe that "investing" in altcoins is a very bad idea, you must be a short term trader when it comes to altcoins.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

This is how I made 100k. Kim Dotcom advised to invest in BTC back in 2015. This forum is about investing and trading. Holding the money won't give you any interest at the moment, I dont get your point. Nice Casino ads in your signature, btw.

I like the name you have come up with this experiment and you have made a lot of money from your patience which has been proven by time. Looks like you're a badman in investing and I admire what you have achieved after reading your replies.

Don't you want to keep few thousands for leisure? there were suggestions already on how and where you should invest and the market is bloody so definitely looks like we had a sale now.

I'm highly confused, guys. The majority of people here tell me not to invest in crypto, in a forum about crypto investments.

Thanks, buddy. I think what made my investments so far successful was a complete emotional detachment from money. It's just numbers on a screen. I'm lazy, too. I'd rather not check my portfolio daily. I check my stocks every three months.

I'd be happy if more people decided to vote. Collective intelligence is a beautiful thing.
