Ethereum vs. Big Companies

I do not think at all that these companies can defeat Ether, Financial experts say Ether will contribute significantly to the adoption of the global digital economy. Sure, many people can not invest in the project, Personally I have already invested in the currency amount for the most.

There is nothing impossible. If such will happen, it will not be an easy task, because ethereum has it is, is already established. All the coins listed are just upcoming, so they have a long way to go and a lot to do before they can surpass ethereum.

They can create their own tokens or altcoins but I don't think that it will be easy for them to defeat Ethereum if that's what you are thinking. Do you think that these companies will invest with big amount of money for the creation of their token?

Even facebook, it invested to their blockchain engineers and developers but as per news, there were companies that invested $10M to them. But killing ethereum, is that going to be their aim? I don't think so.

but for my own opinion, i think it's impossible. i have seen many altcoins claiming to be able to kill ethereum but until now ethereum is still in its place and no one has replaced it or killed it.

They can't kill ETH, no centralized coin that will lead in the cryptocurrency that was intended for a decentralized system.
Big companies loves to hype therefore they can get more investors but along the way people will realize that this space for centralized coin and it would become better if the decentralize coin will lead.

Big companies can start business in crypto but people will not choose them over legit decentralized coins because this is ours, we are tired of being controlled by centralized company and also the transparency that we are looking is in the decentralized coin.

i think that is impossible, because so far there have been many altcoins who say that ethereum will be replaced and will even kill ethereum, but look at this time ethereum still survives in its place.

Bro, you should have known this. Etherum is like a big company, just like amazon, google, facebook etc.
It's just that, ethereum runs a little bit different then them. So what I'm trying to say here is,
companies have their own field to run and survive. And if Big companies like you said is trying to get into
Ethereum field, then maybe they won't be good enough to compete with ethereum.
Because Ethereum is like a big company in this field. So, it'll be really hard for them to compete with Ethereum

To kill may not be, but if we talk about competition, then yes and that will clearly happen. There are many elements incorporated in the ethereum ecosystem, various projects, developers, big communities. Do they want to see ethereum killed? I don't think so

They are not in the same domain and can't be compared. Each of thoses companies have their own businesses.
Ethereum won't be killed and will stay in the crypto market. I don't know why you are making this comparison.
If Google and other big companies create their own cryptocurrencies, it doesn't mean that they are going to kill Ethereum.
And they surely will have big problems to resolve like Facebook with Libra coin. Which maybe will have to become a real bank to really be able to start distributing its coin.

no because ethereum will kill itself long before anybody else even bothers wanting to do something about it. a flawed protocol with lots of exploits, a gigantic blockchain that is 10 times bigger than bitcoin's blockchain, lack of scalability and high fees, a huge premine and ICO, lack of immutability ever since they rolled back a lot of transactions, centralization,... and a lot more are just a small number of issues that ethereum has. with its unlimited supply and the dumping that is happening in the long run it is doomed to die anyways. all you have to do is wait

that's indeed if the big companies have all of resources to create a domination or kill another medium or even small company but this is blockchain when anything becomes decentralized and unpredicted.
We must wait for the result of libra and then we can take that as example about how major company play in the crypto.

Kill ethereum? Ethereum has proved its dominance in encryption. It will not be killed. Ethereum has been running for several years, and it is mature in all aspects. If these mentioned companies in the op want a blockchain of their own, it will take more than just money to kill ethereum,remember eth has ironed out most of its flaws and isn't some experimental project...it's live and popular,they are starting from scratch.

What are you talking about. Ethereum and these big companies currently does not work in the same field at all. Libra is just a "virtual money" used internally in the Facebook ecosystem, and those companies haven't heard of any of their blockchain projects.

i don't think big companies would even attempt doing anything like that specially since there are quite a number of ethereum competitors that are currently growing and not to mention they are a lot better than ethereum as the smart contract platform to go to. so they wouldn't really be competing with it but with dozens of other better projects some of which are decentralized unlike ethereum that is centralized!

amazon, apple has no interest in dropping ethereum, I think what you are discussing is very unproductive.
and even though Facebook now has libra but it doesn't mean that ethereum can be defeated easily, even I'm pessimistic eth will always be the second on the marketcap

Of course not. these are completely different businesses but they are all about technology. ethereum is a platform development business, it's not the same industry as Google or Apple.
So no competition takes place here, every business has its own mission.

Kill Ethereum? Why do you think that these merchants will end ETH? What is the relation? Shouldn't it be better if they could work together? ETH and the merchants have different goals, they are merchants, companies that trade things, social media platforms, and others. Whereas Ethereum is a cryptocurrency.
