They can make coins and I'm sure of that. Maybe my reason is the same as your reason, they are more money, good business partners and have a lot of employees. Maybe you have also heard information about a Facebook company plan that will launch a new coin.

I think this is not related. Ethereum is a platform with smart contracts that companies can use. While companies like Amazon are companies that are engaged in the real sector. When viewed from the market cap value, ethereum even exceeds the company's value of several companies. So I think, it can't be compared between ethereum and companies in the real sector

That’s only possible if they are willing to invest billions of money on their project, but I doubt to those companies that you’d mention. We already know the Facebook to launch their own coin, yet the capital is not that high like the marketcap of ETH. More money doens’t mean you can kill a good technology, you have to undergo to a long process.

Instead of being competitive and trying to destroy, those companies can use ethereum instead. I know it is not that common for us to have those big companies working with stuff that are not theirs and they tend to just buy out the whole company when they want the technology from someone, yet when it is crypto currency they can't just buy all of ethereum so it looks improbable for us that they would do something like that but that seems like easiest way.

Maybe they will see it as the easiest option and do it as well, google pay using ethereum blockchain? Why not. Amazon using ethereum or any blockchain technology to track their warehouses and products etc? Why not. There are so many ways these companies can use ethereum and blockchain that, instead of rivaling, maybe they will join in with the improvements?

I don't understand what you want to relay, will they create their own token and blockchain and compete with Ethereum, if they are not I don't see any comparison, in what reasons or area will these companies kill Ethereum, since it is a cryptocurrency, only a cryptocurrency can beat it.

I think ethereum will be on top soon, personally im looking forward to Eth 2.0 that has been announced to go live in january 2020 so if eth network is able to get rid of all its outstanding issues then surely 2020 is going to be huge for eth.

Ethereum is a project known only after bitcoin, even the potential of ethereum is greatly appreciated. Evidence is that many companies and partners are involved in supporting the ethereum project. I think ethereum will flourish and become the leading smart contract application platform in the world. So there won't be any big companies that can beat ethereum, maybe ethreum will be the blokchain giant of technology later.

that moment could be bad or nothing happened in the market when the moment of release of ETH 2.0 was hit by negative news by the market. I think the developer must think of the best moment to be able to at the same time pump prices. not just an update.

developers should bear in mind that workable product is needed and all outstanding issues shall be addressed, that will increase price in long-term, near term volatility will always be on the markets

We are waiting for upgrade and even if there’s a new company to create coin they can’t beat the top position altcoins easily. Its cheap, but its technology is more than enough compare to any blockchain technology, smart contracts makes ETH ahead so nothing to worry.

If they develop similiar blockchain technology for Dapps, then it is possible.
But currently you are comparing apples and oranges. Ethereum is not even a company, it is a coin that supplies power for EVM project.

It seems that you have not fully grasped the fact about Decentralisation, these company cannot shut down what they cannot even see or touch ecayse it is owned and controlled by everyone together, unlike central institutions where you can simply drag them to court and shut them down, blockchain exists and the movement has begun.

No, these can't kill the cryptocurrency. 
Ethereum is a public blockchain while the  blockchains/blockchain of the big companies will likely be private blockchain.

Public blockchain (real blockchain) have unique features many people need.  Private blockchains do not provide this features..
So, people will always go for the public blockchain when they need the unique features.

I don't think so. At this time, Most companies are established in America are very difficult to join the blockchain. Because the government said that cryptocurrency contributed to promoting social evils such as: Money laundering, trafficking weapons, ... They are very difficult to control them.

Therefore, US companies must choose to cooperate with Ethereum or another blockchain network. This cannot kill Ethereum but it also indirectly helps them grow because currently most projects want to develop blockchain all use the Ethereum platform.

Anyone can compete to any coins especially those companies who are capable to fund their new project, if there's a threat to ETH then they should know that so they can think for more advance technology that can still keep them above all altcoins. I think if Facebook or any other companies fund more their project, they can enter in top position easily and if the service or token or coin is good, then we can expect to see a new coin on top.

I am not sure if the big company can defeat ethereum from ethereum fame, but from coinmarketcap it could be.
but we also have to see how usecase is from the project, is it good or not.
because we also know ethereum has very good quality, whether it's from usecase or the community.

i think nowadays everything depends on market interest.
if Facebook coins or other companies get a lot of funds and also lots of people are interested in buying them, i think it's legitimate they can change the position of ethereum but not to kill ethereum.
because ethereum is still the strongest altcoin.

yes they can, although many have used the ERC20 Ethereum platform on various applications or projects that are used by many companies, but in fact it does not pump ETH prices and trust significantly because many are misusing the DApp ERC20 as a way to raise fake project funds.

I think some words are missing, what you mean is if these big companies will create their own token, if they will do that but the platform is not as competitive like what Ethereum has, I don't think it will succeed, in the first place only Facebook has give us the intention that they are going to create their own coin the others are not.

Of course not, because we already know that the second largest crypto market already has many partners because of the rapid development of erhereum in its emergence. new crypto money like FaceBook's libra certainly won't be able to kill ethereum because they lack cooperation in digital money.
