Bitcoin is a  decentralized transaction system. It has own payment system and no one can control it.

Whatever. The price is controlled.

~

I think there's no overexaggeration here. It's the one way or the other. This news is extreme. So will be the result of this in the longterm. That's my opinion. I could be wrong. My thinking is that the government will regulate crypto which is the first step for adoption.

Everything coming from Trump is an exaggeration.
If it were for his tweets we would have already seen ww6.

Yes, they declared a war! But not against bitcoin! They declared a war to the bad boys who are abusing bitcoin for illegal activities. It's just like declaring a war against criminal who is using dolar for illegal activities. You won't declare a war agains the dolar. You will declare a war against criminal and you will clean up this mess and make it legit and aceptable.

They? Who are they?
There was no message from anybody else, just a damn tweet from the  Trump.
Even the Republicans themselves don't hold a solid majority in the Senate, a bill against or pro-crypto would have hundreds of hurdles to pass and we won't see anything this year.

A war against bad guys? Aren\t they already pursuing illegal activities?
Haven\t they already stopped scam ICOs, haven't they arrested people dealing in drugs with bitcoins? Already 6 years passed since SR!

You know what I think, sometimes I believe these statements are just some mere coincidences with the normal price fluctuations of the market we're in.

The current market trend showed money was been recycled within amongst ourselves in crypto and not that much from retail mainstream. The mainstream could've caused a panic sell if they were already trooping in so I wouldn't correlate this price movement to his statements.

We those already in the game don't care about what negative thing he says. This too shall pass!! we've seen even worse than this.

We can't expect people in their 70s and 80s to sing praises about the cryptocurrency. They will never understand the concept and the purpose behind it. We need to concentrate on the younger generation and needs to have a lot of patience. And there is no need to get disheartened over Trump's comments. Just remember the basic fact: in the end, any sort of publicity is going to benefit Bitcoin.

In many new sites and articles explained trumps speech about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are heavily impacted. But not sure how many of them seen the news about Trump in one place she was showed his racist face.
After that USA assembly rise against Trump and asking him to resign as president posting. I believe Trump is not in the situation to discuss about Bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies now he has his own burden where he done a loose talk.

I don't think that it is because of his tweet. To be fair enough to  Trump, I don't think he really understands how Bitcoin works or he understand it and he was really threatened that Cryptocurrency will overpower the traditional way on acquiring and producing wealth.

I do not exclude that Trump himself owns a certain amount of Bitcoin, but since he has enough advisers, it is quite possible that he did not express his personal opinion.

No one will consider him as a president first of all and then we have some kind of racist thoughts. He was attacking his own country people aren't people who migrated to their country.
In that scenario we cannot expect him to speak about Bitcoin positive way.
Always believe in Bitcoin and expect its market trend based upon the volume and circulation.

There was next to no reaction at all from Trump's comments. This is a good sign we are closer toward a fundamentally stronger ecosystem.

I guess all the crypro community agreed that he's a clown and we shouldn't take this seriously. These tweets haven't hurt the btc price.

I suppose it didn't hurt Bitcoin but instead it only gives more public awareness about cryptocurrencies and those comments seems to be beneficial to the whole crypto industry. Though I find it quite ironic since Trump believes that -

When he tweeted it, there was no effect on price whatsoever. There are probably other reasons for current dump, and not that tweet.

Yes, coincidence.

Even before this he was. Years back he still was one.

I think you right, it just spread more awareness among the common folk  Roll Eyes
The fact he is scared shows how strong crypto is. I think he is against anything that is not the USD

It has nothing to do with Bitcoin's price. Investors in BTC wouldn't exit easily just by any president's opinion about it. Bitcoin doesn't need any support from politicians so that people can accept it. Bitcoin is independent, can be supported or opposed by another individuals.

It has nothing to do with Bitcoin's price.

It has everything to do with Bitcoin's price. If Bitcoin were still trading at $100, you can bet your bottom dollar the US president wouldn't be mentioning it. The head honchos are being forced to deal with Bitcoin because it simply won't go away. Not at $0.01 or $100 or $10K. They're worried what happens next.

Yeah I know that's not what you meant. My point is people are looking at this the wrong way. If you read between the lines, it's actually a really bullish sign that world leaders are being forced to address Bitcoin. As for the immediate effect, Trump tweeted that shit right in the middle of a crash so nobody should be surprised that price kept falling afterwards.

President Donald Trump comment about btc has a minimal effect on the price of bitcoin I believed the decentralized feature of bitcoin was responsible for the modest action of the price which is  a clear picture and indication of how bitcoin will continue to weather the storm and continue to wax stronger, obviously the price witness a temporary dump or pullback due to the negative comment which was short-lived however the price recovery was rapid while its keeps hovering above $10K is an attestation to the fact that the bullish sentiment of the price is not over.

I like it. Trump has +62 million followers on Twiter. If you also include the potentially hundreds of millions of people around the world that heard about it due to the mainstream media covering it, then it gets even better. No matter how much money you spend on advertising, you won't be able to generate as much exposure as Trump did with that one Tweet.

I'm looking forward to his next Tweet and the media attention that it will generate. If the president of the most powerful country in the world keeps talking about that Bitcoin thingy, it might actually be worthwhile for no-coiners to start looking into it. One thing is sure, even if people still don't like Bitcoin, the name is something they will never forget. Smiley

Donald Trump: I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is currently hovering just over $10000.

Any advertisement is good advertisement. Not just that it did not hurt it helped for people to look at Bitcoin.

That’s the good point event if he said that, people are still looking for bitcoin and the price doesn’t dump much. Bitcoin is strong now, it will not dump big again for just a simple statement like this. We don’t need to panic, he will not stay forever as president we have more time to go.
