While I'd prefer the coins to not be dumped in one go but instead in increments(as to not dramatically flash crash the market), why should we stop Satoshi? It's his coins, from his own creation. He/she/they have every right to dump every single one of the bitcoins if Satoshi wants to. It's a free and open market. I hope they do. Convince him then. Best of luck.

I hope they do. So what will you get with that? All people will be damaged who invested any money in this market. I'm having trouble understanding some people. Although they have no interest in themselves, they wishes someone else to suffer. If you are not interested with someone, you should not follow. Let go people do what they want.

Are you looking for a price dump to buy back? Why not just wait and not let your imaginary mind go way too far? There will be a time that it will go back down. (although I dont want to) It will happen. A price dump that will shaken the bitcoin market again. Maybe it will be for the last rodeo though. It will be fast. Once the buyers from the FOMO 20k price sell their coin, a lot will also be buying for a cheaper price.

That would be the ultimate FUD we will have even bigger than what we had last time, worst case scenario is this might be the bear market we may never recover. Satoshi offloading his entire portfolio would just be like an owner of a company selling his own shares which would have the same effect in the market. Not only it affects the demand and supply it also decreasese any kind of confidence in the market.

Only one I see buying above 10k are braindead day-traders at a youtube channel going long at any dip they find and start crying once the dip goes further. It's so funny that a so called expert trader is waking up, moving in front of his screens and without any real indicator or equation just moves up and down a few lines to match with a so called target price. So besides these speculators that are ready to go short/long depending on 5minute candle trend, noone actually wants to buy at 10k. Whales even tried unleashing twitter bots with 100K bought followers to convince people to buy at 13K. Some fake accounts with names like "Bitcoin Bull", calling for unimaginary wealth in 2020. What a load of Bullshit.

I hope they do. No. This wouldn't be a problem, as the market would quickly grab them. Besides if Satoshi wants to change it for fiat, i'd say let him/her. If you think this would harm Bitcoin, you are very wrong. Cheap bitcoins? Others would grab them. It doesn't matter who sells them, don't fear the whales, if you have fiat lying around a lower bitcoin price would be your chance. But its all wishful thinking, you never know when this will (if ever) happen, Satoshi or any other whale, can sell at anytime; don't fear the inevitable, embrace it, understand it, then profit!.

What a load of Bullshit. day traders are in deep shit and stuck inside fake rabbit hole which explain them that by lines on graph like support and resistance and other shit can predict the outcome , but in reality they scammed by books, blogs and other shit scams which dominate the web when in fact top investors which are very rare and know where to look to know what will come and for sure day traders 99.99% lose ,the scams out there give the illusion that its fantastic way to make money hhhhhhhh when in reality is dark rabbit hole . as someone smart said about this lines on graphs like support and resistance and other shit -- he said maybe i need to smash hammer on my head to understand how they predict the out come from this bullshit,,,or they say this is parbolic formation which mean the price will go to x hhhhhhhhh fucking scary rabbit hole which created by the scams which dominated by books, blogs, and other shit

Yah I know, and they got the "hacked" coins to buddy and all the big miner ops just in different pools to keep it more low key. Dah fucking NSA created and that whole trump tweet is reverse social engineering lol, deez people do not think good with brain. Enslavement for future it is, to blind the sheep are. They still think they need Shepard, but they don`t realize Shepard steal all of there wool for life, then eat them after. They don`t even realize they give their baby wool for free to who also will get eaten, lol Some of the sheep even help the sneaky shepard sheer some of the other sheep, but even there offspring`s offspring will be at the bottom get fucked by the shepard when they are gone.

I won't get mad as it's theirs wholly, and it's their responsibility/decision to sell it for monetary value and/or anything. True it can potentially drown the market and send it into the abyss but then again we know that bitcoin has always the potential to bounce back and regain what it lost. I still believe in the initial intention of Satoshi as to why he/she/they created bitcoin, and I know so well that I've already benefited enough from the said invention in terms of profit and money, so yeah, I'm good should that happen.

Was it Charlie of LTC who did something like this? And many of the litecoin community were disappointed?
I don't really know if I will get mad if satoshi does something like that. For sure many will be disappointed because they will be force to hold than sell at a loss while some will be very happy to buy at a great discount.

I hope they do. Those coins are sitting there for years. This means something.Wether Satoshi lost access to his coins or he is dead.Do you think that he won't sell at least a small portion of the coins if he had access to that wallet? If those coins are sold one day,I couldn't care less.Bitcoin will survive the price dump.

No worries, his sold coins will eventually found their new owners within just a short period of time.
However, it might create a FUD that bitcoin is now done since the creator now left.
On the bright side, bitcoin already established a good foundation without Satoshi's presence the whole time. Therefore, any FUD will surely withstand as others might also think that it's not the real Satoshi who sold all the coins but instead, it got hacked or stolen. It just needs time to recover. Bitcoin is not about Satoshi now but it's already backed by a huge crypto community - a global currency.
But you know, there are lots of things to think rather than this
I suggest to take fresh air somewhere else and relax your mind.

Nope. It would finally put any doubts to bed but I don't believe it will ever happen. The idea of someone like Satoshi handing over his wee driving licence to sign up to Coinbase is about as likely as Donald Trump organising a photo shoot with him wearing a nappy and playfully wrestling leathermen in mountains of bubbles.
