That one goal from Kane made the difference between two teams. I was managed to watch the last 15 minutes of the match. There were nothing much.

I watched the whole game, Spurs had some many chances, game could've easily ended 5-0 or 6-0, but Keylor Navas was there to save us from yet another embarrassing scoreline.

Real Madrid are really losing it this pre-season, Injury plagued, conceding goals consistently and scoring sporadically. Can things get any worse for them ?

I’ll second that as it’s too early in the season to predict that Bayern Munich will reach the finals of Champions League. As we all saw in thier match against Tottenham that they only managed to draw and then lost out on penalties, if a team like theirs wishes to reach the finals then they need to perform better.

@Pmalek this is modern day football all clubs need to be making money, and these tournaments make them lots of money. In my personal opinion I like them because I get to see all new arrivals, and different tactics that clubs may use once the season starts.

I agree with you, but this is reality of modern football, it's just a game, but also huge business. Clubs earn a lot from playing these matches, they also promoting their brand in new markets. Last year there was plans to held even some official La Liga matches in USA, but fans were against it and it this idea didn't turned into reality. But I think these pre-season tournaments are also good because fans from Asia, States can see their favourite club playing in their country - not everyone can travel to Europe just to watch football.

I agree with you, but this is reality of modern football, it's just a game, but also huge business. Clubs earn a lot from playing these matches, they also promoting their brand in new markets. It is entertaining and more important for non European people than European imo, and of course it is all about money.

You make a good point but most of the clubs also perform pre-season preparation you mention right before the season start and the friendly tournaments you said are organised/played in other for the team players to understand themselves more on the field of play.

You make a good point but most of the clubs also perform pre-season preparation you mention right before the season start and the friendly tournaments you said are organised/played in other for the team players to understand themselves more on the field of play.

After all, big teams always make sales or promote the latest releases from these events and this is just about the business they do. But I think it's important too, playing away from home will get a different sensation and it's very good to do, because from the event each team has the opportunity to try many strategies to later be used in the main match or competition.

Sometimes it is a waste of time and money especially when the so called elite teams fail to perform when the main league starts which is disappointing but j should think these competitions are to try out new accusations and also entertaining and appreciating fans from other parts of the world.

In Italian League they don’t have any competition, so this match will help us see how they’ll perform in champions league. Atletico Madrid has a strong team, but they’ll be defeated by Juventus who have world class players like Ronaldo, De Ligt and others. Juventus players better start getting used to Sarriball otherwise they will loose their grip on the league, and Sarri will loose his job.
