It was going down anytime and this time it stays at 70 satoshi and IOST will be dead because it has no useful product. People are overrated with IOST but the fact that these days so many platforms are creating a similar configuration to be used in the same way. Even if that was having a lot of demand on its dapp and why the price was going down? Investors see nothing for the future of iost.

it's actually not dead, but there is a continuous correction because bitcoin keeps going up and down like a rollercoaster,
see what happens to the price of XVG, the price drops if you see the price of BTC, but it falls not too far from the price of FIAT.
I'm sure the IOST team already has plans and news for the project, it's just that it's still saved, because as we know bitcoin is positive for a new bull run 1 month ago.
so we just wait.

I don't know the specifics of the coin, but looking at its chart it seems to be in the same boat as a lot of other alts. So not dead, but as already stated, sort of crushed down due to btc.

And with most alts, if at a loss, perhaps it's best to just wait the storm out and hope for the best. On the plus side, it's not like IOST is alone -- almost all alts are down from their highs. Until btc stabilizes or alt season comes along, just the way it will be for a while.

I wouldn't say that IOST is completely dead. The market has suffered a lot ever since, and not just IOST but most of the coins have lost so much value. For me, if I'm going to invest on alt coins right now, I will choose IOST, still looks legit and solid to me.

Many of these projects promised great things, collected lot of money but were not able to deliver what they promised for.
One of the reasons is fierce competition in the sector of utility tokens. Ethereum has been a leader for a while and people are much more familiar to it that any thing else. Big names as EOS and Tron has been struggling to make a presence while something like IOST is lost in the crowd.

Not died yet since there are still volume on trading with IOST but if there’s no progress when the bull started again then let go of this coin because its complete dying. This is not the only coin who suffer like this, most of them are shitcoins already which is bad in the market.

It's an ETH token and with the safe faith of ETH which drop 10 times from its ATH.

Right, it is not dead, last time I check it is still in the top 100 (ranked 74) as per cmc. But it did dropped a lot just like with the rest of all other altcoins because we went on a long year bearish market.

So I guess for those bagholders, you have been holding them for too long to loss faith with this coins. And just keep it, I'm sure when it's time for the altcoin market to make a run, IOST will be amongst to gain back what it has lost.

They are quite active on social media and making partnerships and listings but I haven't heard any special news that may bring back this token in spotlight. Still a good token if you want to diversify your portfolio.

I do not know much about IOST, but IOST was mainly hyped due to high staking rewards that are 15% per year. People are now earning "free" IOST and selling them.

Look like a failed project. Price is dumped hard, website and all of the community channel are abandoned, no more update. And if you look at their website, their team information is missed. You should avoid it.

I think not, look at other altcoin, even the ETH price of the ETH / BTC pair also fell nearly 50% from the highest level this year. This is only temporary when altcoin will recover

Every crypto is experiencing a massive correction right now if you are don't see that happen right now. I see that it's still on top 100 and there's a decent volume on it daily from different exchanges. I wouldn't say that this coin is dead, it looks dead in your point of view because you are looking to the dumping scene but if a coin goes down on its price, it's a good buy. Just like what we had right now with bitcoin, the price slowed down and pulled by the bloods to $9600.

So many old projects going so low in value these days, are they given up for the newer ones, I think their team is not really trying enough to continue to showcase the product to the world, we still have so many investors out there that are willing to invest in projects that have working product, and IOST  is one hell of a product with very good product, if they can only push a little bit further.

I am sure that they can pick up again, or probably they are waiting for when altcoins season will come, because this is usually when most altcoins pushes their project to the market for new investors to see, but I don’t think that should be the only avenue for these projects to market themselves, IOST needs to continue to push now and I am sure that they can still make it.

IOST is one of the potential projects I believe. You should never consider watching a short term price to analysis the real value of a project. IOST development taking place every other day and the community growth is huge. Personally, I believe IOST could overtake TRX and EOS in both terms MCAP and Dapp. You should accumulate more IOST while it's still cheap.

@OP it's now 94 sats, have you both it while it's on 69 sats? I'm aware that this coin got a lot of attention when they've held a campaign and that marketing was very effective on their side.
