Privacy token may be possible because common people will always be benefited from such tokens if the government becomes too invasive in the name of crypto regulation. However, I don't think any new token will suddenly become very important and impactful in this scenario. Instead, we will see existing coins like Z protocol coins, XMR or Dash will enjoy the majority of the market share of privacy coin!

But I am really not bullish about the medical coins! Medicinal coin is one such area where more research is needed! It won't get any prominence just by providing medical support to patients over a video call. John was a promoter to Docademic so it's no wonder that he will speak good about it! But it's my personal opinion, that we humans are not yet ready for such medical aid yet! That's why the possible really looks grim for medical coin, ar least according to me!

how that be? Why does McAfee think that  the privacy coins will excel this year. This coins reacted yesterday and plunged after the U.S. Treasury chairman spoke yesterday about regulation. So if this coins can react to then news, then McAfee can't convince me on this

With the words of fierce crackdown and regulations on crypto, it's easy to predict the move towards privacy focused cryptos which would again increase the problem which the authorities wants to avoid. So, it would be better for everyone to develop a crypto based economy where everyone would have their place.

I feel like they are still underrated in what they are doing as well. I don't know if this will be their year but reality is that they are actually undervalued in my opinion. They are very good at hiding every single transaction and they have been doing it for years, people who want to get away from governments following can use stuff like monero to do whatever they want.

I know it also means illegal things and that is the bad part of the deal but that also happens with bitcoin and dollar as well, you think people do not use dollars to buy drugs all of a sudden because monero is a thing? That is not the case so instead of focusing on how much bad it can create if we focus on the good it can create we can totally use this to our advantage over a leverage against the government on hiding our expenses.

He is an opportunist, he is just trying to use some factors that are very necessary to receive glory and become more popular, who does not know that this is the year of so many altcoins, this year is when we will have the bull run for altcoins, and once the bull run starts, most altcoins will really surge in vale, and some of these coins that he mentioned will definitely receive a greater percentage on investors because they are top coins that have real working products.

So what he has said is not something I should be jubilating over because I already expect this year to bring a whole lot of good news in the world of the altcoins.  I already have enough investment in most of these coins, so I am eagerly waiting the particular month that altcoins will start their own season which is still yet unknown to me.

mate, i think the year of privacy coins not privacy tokens, but not only this year, because privacy is the main idea from cryptocurrency
and for sure monero will growing hard in this year, because this coin is the king of privacy coins for now 

With much more discussion about regulating and making crypto good for general public, privacy based tokens would suffer the most as it would be attacked by the governments as well be dumped by most of the existing users. This year could be the year of regulations.

I don’t trust John Mcafee one bit, because this is not the first time he mentioned this situation
The last time he prophesied the mtc growth, it dumped a lot.

Privacy tokens are really doing well in the market. The little I have experienced shows that privacy tokens will take a big step in crypto. John might be right after all. We all have to watch and see as things evolve.

we cannot lie that every transaction does not always have to be transparent and must be known to the public, such as trade transactions we sometimes have to keep it a secret to guard against competitors or our business rivals. that is why coins or privacy tokens are needed and I am sure the value will continue to rise, accompanied by the increase in users.

Just take a look at his "predictions", how many have actually been accurate?
Also, the year is more than half over already and privacy and medical tokens haven't shown any sign of growth.

Instead, good ol bitcoin, eth, and ltc have all been the ones leading everything.
Yes, Mcaffee is well known, but it would be best to be suspicious of his motives.
He actions are that of someone who is a paid shill.
Or at the very least, someone who is promoting coins in his own interest.

we have done above half of the year and still I don't think anything special has happened to emphasising that his statement is correct.

People who are concerned about their privacy are already using it, It will take some time for everyone to know and use privacy coins. There's also privacy feature proposed for Bitcoin, If it gets implement it'll render most privacy coins useless.
