Be on the lookout for sports betting tipsters who try to sell you their tips, and boast about an unusually high win rate (The best tipsters have an annual win rate of 60%)
You can find free tips all over on the internet (Reddit, for example). However, there are many "tipsters" I have seen on Bitcointalk that charge up to $150 to be part of some Discord group where tips are shared, boasting win rates of 90%.
Remember, what you are looking for is how many units someone has won in the long run. If their tips were so good, they would use their own tips to get rich, instead of trying to market themselves to you.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

If their claim is backed by fact that they did really win on their previous bet granting that their tip was provided 24 hours before the game, then we cant contest their claim. If its just a clain without any screenshot or post made before the game it self then that's questionable. Remember, what you are looking for is how many units someone has won in the long run. If their tips were so good, they would use their own tips to get rich, instead of trying to market themselves to you.
Some tipsters would rather give tips than use their own money to bet. Not everyone have the funds to gamble and remember their tips are not 100% sure win, even if their claim is 90% of their tip won, theres still a remaining 10% chance that they are wrong.

The so called "professional tipsters" are using mostly Facebook groups.I used to be a member of a few,but I never bought any services from such tipsters.I guess only the sports betting gambling addicts are buying such tips.A 90% win rate is ridiculous.

They have threads here but I doubt they can attract clients to pay for the premium picks. If a gambler is smart, he would not fall for this kind of scam, no one would share his picks for return if he can be as consistent as what he is boosting, a simple analysis would do, if they can be consistent, they can do it on their own, and make a fortune in gambling.

I have never seen anyone here with that win rate although there are some members here who share tips, most of them however share their tips for free.People that claim 90% win rate and are not backed up by real statistics are obvious scammers, they are selling their ideas on betting at an expensive price.I agree that only addicted gamblers may buy such services.

Well, what you said isn't strictly true. Sure, they can use their tips to make money and do well. However, selling their tips after they have already placed their bets does not affect their odds of winning or their win amount. Therefore if they can sell their tips and make an additional income, why wouldn't they? Now I am not saying people should buy tips, just pointing out the flaw in your argument. Most if not all tipsters are trash.

Yeah, that is being used on so many social advertisements and I don't believe on any hype like this. Tipsters are just a self-proclaimed professionals but in reality they are not placing bets and let those members to bet for them. This is a risk of trusting someone especially in gambling, this kind of risk will only in favor to the tipster.

You always see these 'professionals" asking payment for their "expertise" in any industry. As what OP pointed out already, check their records first before paying and following their tips.
Or they lost all their money from gambling and they are now asking money for their "professional tips".

True. I've seen some threads here about paying for some tips. Well eventually, most people here are not falling for it. Because their smart enough to know whether it's a scam or a reliable one. I think all you need is your analysis, own tactics and strategies when it comes to gambling.

After all, paid tips do not guarantee 100% win even if he is a trusted person. But with that at least he has a lot of wins compared to his lost. I don't know if that is the best way to win in a sportsbook but playing with your own tips or get free tips is a safe way rather than spending money just for that.

IMO, it's not the best way, I believe a gambler would only be successful if he can rely on himself as to be considered you are successful in sports betting, you need to be consistent and you have to take a long journey, and you cannot just rely on paid picks as that is costly to you, win or lose, you will have to pay for the pick.

Firstly, there are professional tipsters like the MLB picks offered by YBK who offer their service for free which is why you have nothing to lose by relying on them especially if you have no knowledge regarding the sport that you wish to bet on.
On the other hand, paid tipsters could be helpful, but it all comes down to choosing legit tipsters and whether you are willing to lose your money or not in this case.

No one can provide a 90% win ratio in a six month time, you can make safe bets all the time with low odds and then too the risks are really high as you always see an upset most of the time, never pay for any tips as it is not worth paying them money to get some random tips for a sport you are not aware of, if your idea of making a bet is for a match you are keen to watch then you will have an idea on how the game will go and only wage a bet on those games rather than listening to some random tipster. For example i am wagging a bet for two games today, UEFA Champions League- Celtic vs FK Sarajevo - i am going for Celtic to win as i know it is a safe bet. Scotland League Cup - St Mirren vs Edinburgh City- in this match i am going to bet for St Mirren In my mind this is a safe bet but anything can happen in a match.

This line is applicable not only on investment but also in gambling as well.A simple logic which is definitely true if there were people who can managed out 90% winning rate on sports betting then they wouldnt tend out to share but you wont know that those people might consider on extent out their knowledge on betting to get some side income from people who do plan to tail.As a bettor you do still have the last decision if you consider a tipster or not just make it sure to follow those who have realistic stats than those s0 called experts.

All they have to sell, is their previous success rate, and if they can indeed prove it. Of course this does not mean that they would always be right, but if you are going to go with 'tips' you should go with one that is more often right. This of course would increase the price of their service.

Haha this is so true and if they were as good as they say why wouldn't they just use their own money to constantly make more instead of trying to sell their services. There are some helpful people out there that give free advice that people should look for.

Many of these "professional tipsters" are only taking advantage of the new bettors ignorance and greed. Never entrust your funds to these people unless they can also guarantee a refund if the the bet loses.

However, you would need at least six months worth of betting data before knowing whether a tipster knows what they're doing at the very least. Lucky streaks can happen 6 months is long enough to trust the tips of a tipster. Just look at the history of his winnings like out of 10 consecutive bets, how many were losses out of 100 tips? How many winning streaks did he/she had? If in 6 months he made 100 bets and only 10 losses, that's good enough but I would look at the dates when that losses happened. Where or what sport is his weakness or that loss came from.

There was always a market for professional Tipsters. Even paid Tipster services are quite popular outside of crypto. But you need to be sure you are following the real professionals and not a scammer. There are dedicated sites for fiat based Tips and Tipster but I haven't seen one that includes crypto as option or payment.
