Two fights in six months isn’t unreasonable, all things considered, but this is the modern age of boxing. In any event, Whyte (25-1, 18 KO) is probably the most interesting Wilder foe to not hold a belt at the moment, so I’d be perfectly fine watching the two go at it, and if Rivas (26-0, 18 KO) pulls off the upset, then I’d say he’s earned hsi shot. Whyte -460 Rivas +350

This seems a very difficult fight to predict the outcome. Both fighters have 25-1 and 26-0 which shows these guys are in their perfect form.I wish I were in London to be part of this event and enjoying this Saturday night rumble. If I were to bet I would bet on the 26-0 fighter of course.

While the fight seems good and there's no doubt the winner deserves a fight with Wilder but I think boxing fans are more interested with Wilder-Fury 2. There's a lot of bad blood between the two and it's a great time to settle their unfinished business. If I were to bet I would bet on the 26-0 fighter of course.
It is not a bad bet since Rivas also has some KO power with 18 on his perfect record.

I have to watch Rivas on Youtube and check his past fight to get to know him better, he has good punching power and a good overhead right but those fights are coming from low-class fighters, Dillian Whyte is very much different from all fighters Rivas fought so my bet will be on Dillian Whyte I have seen him fight Joshua and Fury and he can really stand toe to toe to these two fighters.

I go with Dillian Whyte here, If I'm not mistaken he has beaten AJ in the amatuers but AJ beat in professionally. However, he was asking for a rematch but AJ avoid him like a plague so there must be something in Whyte.
So I will go for him and a Whyte-Wilder will be explosive and very intriguing match in the future.

When did 'The Body Snatcher' ever fight Tyson Fury? Was it in the amateurs since WHYTE only career loss was to AJ almost 4 years ago.

I feel bad for these two guys. Even after having impressive records, they are still in the shadows of the current "big four" in their division. I might go with Whyte since I think he already faced tougher fighters like the former champ AJ.

It's because they're second tiered fighter out of the heavyweight division. Anyways, the result are already in and as Whyte won a tough fight against Rivas. However, Whyte is caught in early in round nine and was knock down. However, he was already ahead on judges scorecard and we came back to win the championship round as well. With the win, he is not the interim WBC heavyweight and we do hope that he will get his chance against Deontay Wilder for a full heavyweight belt. Judges scores: 115-112, 115-112, 116-111 for UD win for Whyte.

Close UD scores victory for the hometown fighter but he would not fair all so well with the likes of any of the Champions. He defeated the Latino in his backyard which is common the on judges scorecards but guys like DEONTAY WILDER and ANDY RUIZ would put DW to sleep I think

Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance https://www.boxingscene.com/dillian-whyte-tests-positive-banned-substance--141178Multiple sources have confirmed that an "A" sample taken from Dillian Whyte tested positive for one or more banned substances prior to Whyte's July 20 fight in London against Oscar Rivas. Although Whyte is in the World Boxing Council Clean Boxing Program which is administered by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA), the test in question was administered by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD).

Ridiculous! Boxing is rife with doping cheats, every few months there seems to be news of somebody failing a drugs test. Why can’t people stick to the rules & fight clean? I guess if you feel everybody is cheating then you feel you have no option but to join in or get left behind.

That could be one of the reasons but to me the two most common reasons are the next, the first reason is that it is easier to take a pill that enhances your performance and that takes only a few seconds of your life than to work for years to gain the endurance and punching power needed in this sport, and the second reason is financial, those at the top are the ones that earn the most money and since people are greedy they want to take a shortcut to get there, and in some cases it is the only chance they have to get to the top since they lack the ability or the work ethic to become a superstar of the sport.

A lot of sports "conditioning coach" will try everything to help their fighters stay in top shape and rank up as fast as they can because the wear and tear of fighters in this sport is so fast which makes most boxers careers short.

This dude instantly lost his ticket to fight Deontay Wilder which I think is a good thing for the boxing community. If he didn't looked good when he was fighting with performance enhancement drugs on mediocre fighter what more he would look like if he fought the beast himself. It looks like Deontay Wilder would need to step up big and fight either Tyson Fury or Andy Ruiz to put him as the undisputed heavyweight boxer, heck he can even face Anthony Joshua to give him a chance to redeem himself.

https://twitter.com/DillianWhyte/status/1154722578952531969Might have jumped the gun to early here with this news- DW claims his innocent and as do his Management team I am so disappointed with the rubbish that has been said about me over the last few days. I have lawyers dealing with it and I have been told that I can't talk about it for good legal reasons. I was cleared to fight and I won that fight fair and square.
Thanks for the support
