maybe yes, because as i knew decentralized exchange is safer than centralized exchange my friend
so, in my opinion, in the future a lot of people will use dex rather than cex

There is a big chance that they will use it especially if they know that their money is safe. But if we are going to talk about safe, I am pretty sure that no exchange that can provide 100% security even if they are centralized or decentralized.

This is the harsh truth in online exchanges but if at least they can give an assurance to the users that they will make sure to provide an utmost security then there is a big chance that it will happen in the future.

Decentralized exchange has proven to be the safest hive for trading crypto assets but I'm sure centralized exchanges won't become extinct because of decentralized exchanges, exchanges like binance, huobi, okex will be around for many years to come

I don't think that everyone will just magically switch to using decentralized exchanges.
Regular exchanges are basically becoming too big to fail and you'll still have people who'll use them, just because it's way easier.

Don't get me wrong, I would certainly think it's a good thing if more people started using DEX's, but not everyone will do so.

The ease of transferring funds between blockchains, ease of use, liquidity - these are the factors that will leave CEX in business for a long time.
Mass adoption has not yet come; useful technical solutions to ensure cross-blockchain transactions with minimal exchange rate losses are still in dev. Therefore, DEX has the opportunity only in the future to obtain sufficient liquidity. How soon? It seems that this time is further and further...

I believe that, DEX is the answer to the problem. with DEX all being transparent, there is no more volume manipulation because trade is decentralized.

I see the future of crypto exchanges on DEX. currently Binance is developing its decentralized exchange (Binance DEX). if this works, there will be many other exchanges that will follow Binance's steps. with many problems in centralized exchanges such as manipulation, bot, deposit and withdrawal problems and much more. DEX can solve all these problems.

It will depend on users. Right now there is a boom of hybrid and DEX exchanges, even big centralized exchanges have their own alternative version. This shows that there is a demand for DEX exchanges, but that demand must be confirmed with facts. If users chose DEX over centralized exchanges, most of them will move in that direction, if users think DEX are too difficult for them or they don't want to be responsible for their coins and prefer centralized exchanges, then, those exchanges will prevail. Taking into account that new users are more likely to choose centralized exchanges while existing users may prefer DEX, I think we will see both models coexisting.

for now, people prefer to use centralized exchange because it is easier to use and has a higher trading volume than DEX. but what if one day there is a good and quality decentralization exchange. I'm sure everyone will use it. and sooner or later CEX will be abandoned.

Do you believe that businesses and enterprises will get into DEX’s as well?

DEX is now proved to be beneficial for business. As large enterprises are entering the crypto market, they'll surely create better dex and a token required to trade on the dex. They'll loosen the fees to attract users. They'll hold 90% of the token while circulating 10 and make gradual profit by sending those tokens to the market gradually. Then there would always be those fees.

When the cross-chain transaction protocols are fully developed, I think DEX will be the trend of future exchanges. Currently Binance is also using Cosmos's technology to improve their Binance Chain to solve this problem, so I believe in that.

I see them splitting into 2 routes.

The first one is the corporate one. Banks and other big companies including binance, kucoin and other exchanges complying to the KYC leaking customer informations and everything. Having the same privacy as facebook lol

The second option is the same route SwitchDex is taking, going full privacy and security focused. No complying to the KYC or any other regulators, obviously they won't be as popular as the others but i'm sure the core cryptocurrency group will appreciate having some exchanges that actually care about the customers privacy and security.

A DEX is supposed to be privacy focused and no data sharing. This goes against the business model of any company and it will get them in legal troubles. Companies could create a normal exchange and comply to any regulation in order to be "Legal".

For example if any public company does what SwitchDex is doing and don't comply to the KYC or any other regulation + not recording personal information they would get sued and jailed by the "justice" system. Most companies won't riskt that.

There is nothing special about being on DEX. Any project, whether private or public, small or large enterprises. Inasmuch as it is related to blockchain technology, it can be on DEX. Although, because of the fact of volume on a lot of DEXes, projects do not feel encouraged to list on them, except there is lack of fund to process CEXes.

Right, you can see bot OKex and Binance are developing their chain to implement DEX. If they can integrate cross-chain technology as well as assure trading volume, the future of the exchange will be DEX.

The time when decentralized exchanges will be used more than centralized will come one day, but this will not be very soon.

Maybe one day, when they realize that is much better to manage DEX instead of CEX. Imagine if strong regulations will be applied what will happen to the CEXs? They will stop with centralized solution and rather develop DEX.

I have seen in this forum from some post that there is no future of centralized exchange. But I don't think this is the right opinion. Because people are always finding an easy way in whole life. And centralized is easier than decentralized I think. and have not more volume on the decentralized exchange. So people always feel comfortable to use a centralized exchange. But it is right that decentralized is safer than centralized.

I think centralized exchanges will continue to dominate. When people lose money they need someone to blame or someone to help them. If you lose your money on a DEX it's gone forever. I think the next Binance and BNB will be COSS exchange and their COS token. Don't miss out on this little gem!
