Actually you are right about the decline in the number of ICO projects because a good number of them are nothing but just scams. On the other hand in the case of IEO they might not be scams but a good number is just for playing games that is, for pump and dump. Most of these IEOs are just like ICO projects although there is no exit scam but there is nothing worthy about them other than getting on exchange perform few pumps and the dump sets in. In all dealings one needs to be careful a good majority of IEOs are not worth it.

Yes, it's almost the same, but if IEO collaborates with a large market, at least it's a good project. as far as i see IEO from binance is quite good, even in the beginning of trading it is always profitable and goes above 50-100% profit, even more. can also check here some about IEO https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5176233.0

There are pros and cons for both ICO and IEO. But ICO's are more scam than IEO these days, in fact most of the ICO's are made to scam investors. There was a time when just a whitepaper would get you huge investment, people are smarter now. The problem with IEO is that its exchange based and they are not 100% trustworthy.

That is good pair. For sure - IEO gives new breathe to the crypto market and it helps a lot of people to grow funds. Time of ICO is gone.

it's different. That is why IEOs are booming compare to ICOs before. People like the convenience of IEO because the coins or tokens are already listed in an exchange and they don't have to undergo the waiting game and they can just straight out buy and sell the coin or token that they bought. IEOs are indeed the best way to make quick profits if you know what to buy and what to avoid.

The ultimate aim of projects who raise funds via ICO and IEO methods are to raise money to fund their projects and I think projects actually prefers ICOs to IEOs because there would be no middle-man (exchanges) to share the funds with or to give large amounts of their tokens to, additionally during the days of ICOs, projects could raise much more funds via the ICO tokensale method, we used to see hardcaps of $10m and above but with IEOs, their hardcap is much smaller although it's almost guaranteed that they would hit it I'm a short period of time, mostly within seconds of opening the sale.

It all depends on individuals, different people have their different preference but I think that IEOs are generally safer and since the goaal of most investors are to make profit and make it fast, IEOs are preferred because rpojeccts list their tokens in the exchange where they conduct their sales almost immediately after thee sales, no more having to wait for months and sometimes hearts before the token is listed in an exchange and I am yet to see any IEO listed in a major exchange that gave more than 50% loss after it was listed in an exchange, and losses are generally rare, but that is not the case with ICOs, we have seen losses of -500% immediately it's listed in an exchange.

IEO has always received the attention of investors and many people are starting to look for this form of investment to become richer. I think this trend will continue for a few more years because IEO at big exchanges is always mentioned a lot. Personally, I have spent more than 20% of my current assets investing because I believe that IEO is the only way to make money this time around.

Thanks for the very rich post and detail analysis about ICO and IEO in my opinion now either it is ICO or IEO the investors only take part in a project which is already stable or supported by another big project. and all other projects never get the support or interest by investors due to large number of scam projects from in IEO and ICO.

IEOs are better than ICOs because the exchange vets the project. Exchange tokens like bnb and ecxx are an even better investment imo.
