Based on my experience, it's better to invest in IEO than in ICO. Because it's clear that IEO projects have advantages tokens that we
buy certainly enter exchanges, this makes it easier for us to sell tokens. Unlike ICO projects that often occur failed to enter exchanges,
this makes us lose money because the tokens we buy cannot be sold. Even so choose the IEO projects held by popular and trusted
exchanges, in order to avoid us from scammers.

Greed was the main reason of ico downfall, most of the project team became very greedy because of the way people where putting money in ico especially in 2017, scammers took advantage of this and ruined it for the few good projects out there, many got burnt on the process and tag ico as bad,

ieo on the other hand looks a bit more secure than ico even though the end result is not that different from that of ico only that it is more secure, ieo are more favorable to the exchange than others.

While there are some small differences between ieos and icos at this point it does not matter, I only care about one thing, what it is the failure rate of each one of them and how do they compare? And in that case you are not going you find a big difference, and then I ask myself then why invest in any of those projects that go through icos or ieos?

And personally the more I think about it the less sense it makes which is why long ago I decided that I will never put my money in one of those projects again no matter how good and honest the developers claimed to be.

Ultimately it depends on the project's viability and intent. If the intent is fraudulent then the structure of the token sale doesn't matter much. Choose good projects with even better teams and governance. There will still be winners in both ICO and IEOs-although a very small percentage reflect this.

You are right without proper research it is not a good idea to invest in the IEO, people are showing a lot of interest towards Binance IEO. That's why it is good to research before investing in any project, so it is good to invest in Binance exchange for IEO.

every new product is highly recommended not to always accept openly but must always keep doing research as said colleague above. because of course there are good products and not, all depends on the organizers. because the intention is already not good enough to wear anything will definitely not good. so stay alert and always analyze well and give each other information so that not many are trapped.

Research is a must before we can deal with everything as there is not safe place in the cryptocurrency. even if that is having a good product and it doesn't mean there is no chance if that project will bring us to the risk. Just try to learn about how to deal with the ico or ieo

And sometimes people only invest in new projects based on what others suggest and do not make their own observations about the project, then what is suggested is not in accordance with what is expected. The fact is true, that the ICO Market cannot return. Even the current trend of IEO, is also experiencing problems. The obstacle is that the investor enthusiasm for IEO is not the same as before. Because every project forces IEO to be exchanged at a low rate, which results in many investors also losing money.

ICO heyday is over and investors turn to IEO, investing in ICO very is at high risk of losing money. of course ICO will never come back and investors must think twice before returning to ICO again. the success of an IEO project is far better than ICO.

For those that have been around in the Cryptocurrency market for a pretty long time the question to invest in IEOs or ICOs has been the main discussion point in 2019.
For some especially on “bitcointalk” it is clear that they won't invest in IEO anymore. After I have followed lots of discussion on bitcointalk i realized that people have moved on. It is a clear that people invest in IEOs as the platforms will evaluate the projects and give the investor the feeling of security.
Nevertheless i have observed a trend. The numbers in the ICO market have been declining but stayed fairly stable in 2019. The main reason for moving on to IEOs was the astonishing amount of scams that had flooded the market, since it was easy to make a lot of money.
This move to IEOs has something good. I believe that as harder it gets to hold an ICO as more the projects have to do to convince potential investors. Scammers want easy money and my hope is that the ICO market will come back slowly. Projects that will hold an ICO have to invest more time to convince people.
I sadly had to accept that those who scammed investors destroyed the dream of projects with little money that have great ideas. To hold an ICO and build a community of investors around it is a great way to fund your project without going to big VC firms. Unfortunately those you scammed investors destroyed the ICO market till now and it will take a lot of time to recover.
I have accepted that IEOs are currently the way to fund a project. The only thing that worries me is the power we give those exchanges. Is it really god idea to give that much power to exchanges in the cryptomarket.

As a beginner and after great research what I suggest is to go for IEO. The reason is that in ICO scam is becoming common now. And in IEO exchange give promising responsibility of fund raising and security process. Investors always look for better path, they will never risk their investments so IEO is rising so high in todays era.

IEO is a form of investment that will certainly grow in 2020 and investors will be more interested because most of the IEO projects I know are successful at big exchanges such as Huobi, Binance, Kucoin. I believe there will be many new IEO projects this year and will attract a lot of investors so this is a great time for you to make a profit.

In addition to the famous IEO projects, there are many IEO scam projects appearing at many exchanges, so be careful and think many times before choosing.

Soon ieo will face thesame faith as ico because looking at it they are only slightly different from ico which means investors are not getting what they expected from ieo,
in my own humble opinion, i think real project should do more of self funding to show their level of commitment to their project rather than relying heavily on public funding, but then, since majority are not legit, they prefer to raise generate funds from the public in other to run away with it.

In my opinion IEOs will die off as well. It is only the question of time until people won't care about even big IEOs on exchanges like Binance, because they would be unprofitable.  ICOs are completely on the bottom already and only bullish market can help to make things better.

After reading all replies It seems Though Liquidity is higher but IEO is more transparent than ICO and investing on IEO is saffer than investing on ICO if the coin launches on a reputade exchange. So we have to be awared about exchange before investing on any projects.

And where did you get that information that ico's have higher liquidity? IEO's are just a next step in evolution, instead offering your tokens by yourself, you have exchange to do it for you. Of course better exchange should choose better project, we like to think that exchange will not sell every junk, we think they choose projects carefully, but is it like that in reality?
After all we need to do research on the project itself, no matter is it ico or ieo, it's just a way for project to gather some funds. Will it be successful depends from many other factors too, not just did they choose to start as ico or ieo.

I think that during the next months or years we are going to begin to see a lack of interest in investing in ieos as well because even if you decide to invest in the ieos that are taking place in exchanges with very good reputations that doesn't really mean that you're going to get profits with those projects.

And profits are what every single investor in this market wants to get and since it is impossible to give them a guarantee that they are going to get those profits and with the high failure rate of ieos then the interest to invest in those projects is going to decrease significantly.
