I don't think Trump's tweets were the cause of the drop in the prices of most cryptocurrencies. The nature of the crypto market has no specific cause for either the drop or the raise of the prices of most cryptocurrencies. The market had been like that even before Trump thought of making a tweet  about cryptocurrencies.  The market is not really  influenced by such speculations and FUDs..

Although you may be true but so many media there making articles about how trump's tweet affect crypto, we are talking about trump the US president here, the regulation or opinion he released to public may spread to the world and could become a problem for crypto, even a little, it did affect the whole crypto.

I always thought there were a higher amount of btc investors outside of usa, thus making trades based on trump speculation, or fear of how usa receives it, little effect. Is there a resource out there that depicts which nations have x% of invested btc? Perhaps with this info we can better gauge upturns & downturns with the coin based on current events in higher invested nations.

Maybe some people will get carried away by the issue and the news, especially for those who have not firmly established the crypto nature. Basically, Trump is not the only person commenting on crypto. There are many more influential world leaders who support crypto. And this is what we should care about. Regarding prices in the market, I think indeed now the market is still very fluctuating so prices can easily go down and rise normally.

Hello... Friends... Is it true Trump’s Tweets Causes Cryptocurrency Price To Tumble? Recently I read the news Trump’s Tweets Causes Cryptocurrency Price To Tumble
I don't think that the remarks of President Trump will have an impact on cryptocurrency, many big businessmen and politician have been criticizing crypto but it has no effect and crypto is still here surviving. Trump is just another critic but if he will tell to the congress to do something with it then it's another story if there is a crackdown.

Yeah I admit on that news their have small effect for bitcoin price drops slightly due to trump tweet statement, but I am not afraid for that because it's only trump own opinion the US president didn't announce for bitcoin ban. Now bitcoin is still strong in my own opinion 10,000$ is still strong value for bitcoin.

I feel it is not strange if someone in government does not like crypto, this might be related to regulation and the belief that crypto will have a negative impact on financial development in the country, both financial imbalances and other things. As trumpeted by Trump above. Basically, awareness of the importance of technological advances in crypto can also be an interesting thing, but for someone like Trump who is already not interested in cryto, then anything will be impossible for him. If for me personally I will not be affected by the tweet this one. And I'm sure of the market conditions.

For me, every good thing had its pbad side, gone were the days growing up in an African home our parents will tell us that one who respect others is brings attention to the house and yet the one who does otherwise also brings Ttentipn to the house. Either way I see trumps twee as giving people more reason to explore the abilities of cryptocurrencies

I dont know where you get that fact from but am sure and I saw it when tweeted which did not in anyway affect the price of market , but btc even surge higher which show he has no impact to the market .

He can only stop his citizen as other country has power to decide what they want with out his consent or their law .

I dont see bitcoin going down any more about being accepted in one region or country as many country has taking in their capacity to drive along with blockchain.

Not a dent, mate. The tweet of President Donald Trump was quickly made into news by some media outlet, although not worth reading at all. We all know that it was a statement that did not go through enough thought or even research. It was obviously a comment that was just borne out of a few whispers of some people close to him and not out of sheer knowledge. The experts' take on his tweet right after was more worthy of news.

I think his tweets are very good for a cryptocurrency community. they may temporarily affect the price but in the long term it is a very good sign

Looking at the price action after the tweet, I don't think so.
The interesting thing is that both the Trump tweet and the Libra negative hearing came approximately at the same time and Bitcoin is staying stable at 10K$.
If Trump and Congress can't crush Bitcoin, then what can?

No one really can, they can try but they are not going to crush what Bitcoin has achieved over the past ten years, Bitcoin is now gaining momentum I don't think it's about Trump's tweet, it's more of a correction, and it will happen from time to time anymore tweet like that will not harm Bitcoin anymore.

From what I have come to realize, Bitcoin has grown that level that certain fundamentals rarely affects its price unlike what it uses to be, More of the analysis now are on technicals and it responds to this. Gone are the days when a particular fud maybe from a prominent person or state will cause the price to plummet, all these had happened in the past and bitcoin never died but grew to its current level and beyond, nothing that haven't been heard about fud but btc remains strong

If that's the case bitcoin should be back at 7000$ now not 10,500$ present value, this means trump nonsensical talks don't do a thing

There are many elements of influence but I don't think President Trump's tweet affects the price of bitcoin. Falling prices are due to investor sentiment as bitcoin has grown so strongly in the previous months.

I also don't think that it is the cause of the sudden drop, we all know that any US President will say that, they just want to protect their interest, what he tweeted, in my opinion, is all about Facebook's Libra coin's intention to create new money for all their application.

I don't think that Trump's statement is strong enough to create an impact to Bitcoin. We know him and we respect his opinion but I don't think his words is powerful compared to the previous president of US. Bitcoin will stay while their position are only temporary.

I am very happy that US senate is more inclined to Bitcoin than to Libra. They know about the possible danger that comes with Libra.
Big companies might gain power over 2 billion people.

The double bladed words can reflect in both short and long term effects, some might think that's bad since it's the president who's talking about crypto currency while inside the business minded person why bothered for this guy to deal about something if there's no real reason behind it, it's up for both supporters and haters to assess the real intentions of his statements.
