That's true you can see many altcoins become $0 and looks dead because  there's no development on the project. Bitconnect is only one of them, if you want to see you can look another dead coin you can find at https://deadcoins.com/.

I have visited the https://deadcoins.com/ site. And after visiting the site I have found some coin which is now trading on binance and team is still working to develop the project. But on the site, its marks as Scam coin. One of them is Pundi X coin[ NPXS]. So really all the data is 100% accurate of this site?

do you think your side deadcoin is tied up with the developers and they have a whole business with this site, of course, minus that there is a coin there, but me and the dead coins were shot by me at x10-x100

I also know of DOVU coin. I put all my trust in that coin because of the sugar coated announcements from the team so I kept holding my tokens. Now my 260$ worth of tokens is worth not more than 2$. From the look of things, I doubt this coin could ever bounce back

It is very disheartening that some Altcoins has little or no value, that is probably because the team didn't do their underground work well or they were just after the short term profit.

85% though? It could be more. I have so many coins I've been holding since 2017 that have gone to zero dollars. Bitcoin red, BitWhite, hawala token, to name a few. There will have to be a really big announcement if the price is to start picking up soon

I also have a lot of coin which used to be of value to me that are just staying lifeless in my wallet, tokens such as OWN, NoBS and LOC. The sad part is that almost all these coins have no chance of becoming of value again.

Not 85% in my opinion but many of the altcoins are worthless or there is no volume on those altcoins means almost dead. I received several altcoins and several listed on exchanges by the time and many of them are just worth of pennies now almost useless to hold: Paymon, Ebtc, Pext, Exrt, NOBS, & CIF.

You can start your search by looking through the list at https://www.coinopsy.com/dead-coins/

Hmmm.. The crypto space is really big. Before now I never knew there's a place one can get the list of dead coins. The only coin I know and has been mentioned by the poster is Bitconnect. Let me go through the link and see others for myself.

I heard that over 85% of crypto from over a few years ago has went to 0.  Is that true or false?

Can someone give me a list of the popular coins that were pretty well known that has went to 0?  The only one i know of is bitconnect.  All the other coins, they might have dropped to pennies but what coins has went straight to 0.

It's true and it's many to mention. Most of the new altcoins listed since 2018 has drastically dropped especially those with high completion on heir platforms.

Talking with data is better than talking only based on what you hear. If there is data, maybe people will believe what you say even if the data is wrong. You convey this, then ask us to prove it. I think this is really unethical.

I can help you with many of those coins but the one I want to talk about for everyone to know is the coin called minexcoin. It went up to as high as 70$ and currently trading at 0.07$.  You can check this yourself on coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minexcoin/
it caused by minex is a scam project that created by the same person which was running another scam project in the past but OP can get all of the data about which coin was going to the almost zero alue and i got 100% decrease from its ATH through use https://messari.io/onchainfx
that was giving whole news about the technical data of any coin.

2018 is a tough year for altcoin but on the other hand it is also a positive thing for the market. With the number of altcoins falling out in 2018 due to bearish markets, the market starts selecting good altcoins and can survive.
But this is not true, even if many coins disappeared during the bear market for each coin that died two more took its place and now we have more than 5000 coins in the market, and it is easy to see why this is the case, creating a regular business will require seed capital, an interesting concept, employees, investors and a physical office somewhere around the world, but to create a new coin you only need a website that you can buy for cheap, you do not even need capital for a marketing campaign since you can pay with tokens the devs can create at will.

With the data, you will get all the information about the condition in the market, and you will see which altcoin has decreased too deep. Bitconnect is one of the example coins which already went to 0 because people don't trust the coin anymore. But so far, I think although the altcoin has decreased a lot, it is not going to 0 because that coin still tries to rise again.

In this space, everything is possible. Also, hearing that many projects as high as 85% has lost value didn't amuse me though because it was expected. There were many projects created which are just useless, no good team, no goal etc what do you expect? Some are just pump and dump coins. So to me, it's not new and also there are new ones that will still be useless or have no value soon.

Wow, it turns out there are lots of tokens that don't have a sale price or maybe they die. Do you hear UAHpay? yes it is included in my wallet list, I hope it's good but actually they are one of the dead altcoins. very annoying

This is just typical example of a pump and dump coin, for this coin to have gone that low, then it is obvious that they have no working product, and I don’t know why they still have record in coinmarketcap.

People need to be extremely very careful of these type of  coins, because these are the coins that their developers are sleeping now and not pushing for the project, But the moment the altcoins bull run starts, they become active and would want to push the coin to the public to scam those who would rush to invest in some altcoins out of fomo without researching on the coin first, or checking their past history for their development so far. Any project that is good will still be in the market being traded without having such a drop in value.

It is correct that many altcoins are at no value because their developers leave the project. But there are many good altcoins available and we can see them for investment.

Investing in altcoin is a huge risk. If we invest in altcoin then we need to monitor them regularly because it can die and collapse at any time. I lost a lot when trying to make a profit from altcoin because it pumped and dumped so fast.

yes it is true, but not all altcoins fall to 0, quite a lot of altcoins now exceed the price when ICO, this goes back to the quality of the ICO project project, although it is now quite difficult to find a good and reliable ICO program

Nowadays people are pefer to invest their money on IEO since it has guarantee the token / coin will be listed on that exchange which held the IEO. Actually it's only few altcoins which went to $0, most of them are having $0 trade volume so they are called dead token.
